I am not sure about the yellow background but love the skyline...not sure what other color would look better though. 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Thanks, I'll follow up with a revised logo soon... 15 years ago stewpot Client I really like this in black and white! I changed the brief to leave color choices up to designer, so if you were thinking something else colorwise, play with it. Otherwise, I really like the black and white version. And can you round the edges a little so it is not so square? Thanks! 15 years ago stewpot Client once i have the logo, if it is in black and white, is it easy to have it done in colors as well if I am putting on a t-shirt? I am not sure how that works. Thanks. 15 years ago stewpot Client Can you show me 39 or 38 without the line of the circle going through the words? Want to see how that looks. 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Here is the revised logo without the circle...Thanks.(This comment references Entry #91) 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer If you choose my logo (black & white) I would be able to provide you the file in color as well (via e-mail)But any printer show be able to use the black & white file & make it color as needed.Thanks. 15 years ago stewpot Client ok...On #91 and 92 can you put the circle back but avoiding going through the letters? Also, tone down the swirls in the U of Music. Thanks! 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Yes, I can do that, look for my revised entries within the next few hours, Thanks. 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Thanks for the feedback, here are the revised designs as requested...(This comment references Entry #97) 15 years ago stewpot Client thanks...I like this a lot. Might ask for one more small tweak...but I think this is what I am looking for. 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Great! Just let me know & I'll get it done... 15 years ago stewpot Client If I were to go with the black logo, can I have this done in color as well once I get to the printer? Do you know how that works? 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Yes, the file would be set up where the printer could select the separate elements you want changed & then change the colors as needed. It may be easier if we actually started out with the color logo, then the printer could simply change all of the colors to black. Also, I am willing to send you 2 separate files (1 b&w & 1 color) if I end up winning the contest. But, the only way that I know to send multiple files is to upload the final logo through LogoTournament & then send the second logo via private e-mail. (I've done this before for a couple of other contests I've won)Let me know....Thanks, Don 15 years ago stewpot Client thanks! That would be great. I am working all day today but will make a decision tonight or in the am. I really appreciate it. I am thinking for variety printing some shirts in b/w and some in color. If you have any other color suggestions, let me know. You can just tell me, you don't have to put them together. 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Thanks, as far as colors go, I could see rusty orange w/ olive green, deep red w/ dark blue, two tones of warm grey maybe, more muted colors, not primary colors (Just my opinion)Also, you could think about the option of doing an all white logo on a dark shirt, not necessarily a black shirt, maybe charcoal grey, dark green, dark blue or maroon. My advice is to just keep your eyes open when you're out in public & when you seesomething that catches your eye & you like it (wether it's on a shirt or a poster or TV)make a mental note & use that info when making your color decisions for the shirts. Thanks again, Don 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Here's how ot looks in white on a dark b/g... just for visual, no need to rank this.Thanks.(This comment references Entry #105) 15 years ago stewpot Client It is getting down to the wire. There is a new entry that I have ranked number 2. I really like the guitar element in this...I like your logo better. Is there anyway you could incorporate a guitar into your logo? I know that might mess up the balance, but thought I'd ask. What do you think. I will be checking this frequently today. 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Here are a couple attempts at adding the guitar... unfortunatley I will be away from my computer for the next several hours, but I should be back before the contest ends... hope you like.Thanks.(This comment references Entry #109) 15 years ago stewpot Client ok....on entry #120, I like this incorporation of the guitar. Just wondering how it will fit on a t-shirt. Was wondering if the guiltar was on the diagonal if that would fit better, but not sure if you could do that with the design. Or do you think the vertical would work fine. 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer I was sort of thinking the same thing about fitting on to a t-shirt, I had shortened the neck so it would fit better, here is a diagonal version, I think this may fit a little better, let me know.Thanks.(This comment references Entry #134) 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Let me know if you need ant last minute tweaks.Thanks. 15 years ago stewpot Client which is your favorite of the designs you submitted? 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer I'd have to say, In order:#134#97#121#120Thanks for asking! If you're having trouble deciding between 2 of my entries, I can always e-mail you thesecond logo if I ended up winning the contest. Also black & white and color versions. 15 years ago stewpot Client Will this be 300DPI? 15 years ago doncorvair Logo Designer Yes, I'll make sure it's 300dpi. (that is the .jpg file)I will also be uploading an .eps file, which is an editable vector file, the printer should be able to manipulate & change colors on the .eps.It is more difficult to change colors on the .jpg.Also the .eps file keeps the resolution no matter how large or small it is made.Hope this makes sense. 15 years ago
