I would like the words I followed the music to Austin in the bigger font, and leave out the smaller font all together so that there is only one phrase. I am not sure about the yellow background but love the skyline...not sure what other color would look better though.
I really like this in black and white! I changed the brief to leave color choices up to designer, so if you were thinking something else colorwise, play with it. Otherwise, I really like the black and white version. And can you round the edges a little so it is not so square? Thanks!
once i have the logo, if it is in black and white, is it easy to have it done in colors as well if I am putting on a t-shirt? I am not sure how that works. Thanks.
If you choose my logo (black & white) I would be able to provide you the file in color as well (via e-mail) But any printer show be able to use the black & white file & make it color as needed. Thanks.
Yes, the file would be set up where the printer could select the separate elements you want changed & then change the colors as needed. It may be easier if we actually started out with the color logo, then the printer could simply change all of the colors to black. Also, I am willing to send you 2 separate files (1 b&w & 1 color) if I end up winning the contest. But, the only way that I know to send multiple files is to upload the final logo through LogoTournament & then send the second logo via private e-mail. (I've done this before for a couple of other contests I've won) Let me know.... Thanks, Don
thanks! That would be great. I am working all day today but will make a decision tonight or in the am. I really appreciate it. I am thinking for variety printing some shirts in b/w and some in color. If you have any other color suggestions, let me know. You can just tell me, you don't have to put them together.
Thanks, as far as colors go, I could see rusty orange w/ olive green, deep red w/ dark blue, two tones of warm grey maybe, more muted colors, not primary colors (Just my opinion) Also, you could think about the option of doing an all white logo on a dark shirt, not necessarily a black shirt, maybe charcoal grey, dark green, dark blue or maroon. My advice is to just keep your eyes open when you're out in public & when you see something that catches your eye & you like it (wether it's on a shirt or a poster or TV) make a mental note & use that info when making your color decisions for the shirts. Thanks again, Don
It is getting down to the wire. There is a new entry that I have ranked number 2. I really like the guitar element in this...I like your logo better. Is there anyway you could incorporate a guitar into your logo? I know that might mess up the balance, but thought I'd ask. What do you think. I will be checking this frequently today.
Here are a couple attempts at adding the guitar... unfortunatley I will be away from my computer for the next several hours, but I should be back before the contest ends... hope you like. Thanks.
ok....on entry #120, I like this incorporation of the guitar. Just wondering how it will fit on a t-shirt. Was wondering if the guiltar was on the diagonal if that would fit better, but not sure if you could do that with the design. Or do you think the vertical would work fine.
I was sort of thinking the same thing about fitting on to a t-shirt, I had shortened the neck so it would fit better, here is a diagonal version, I think this may fit a little better, let me know. Thanks.
I'd have to say, In order: #134 #97 #121 #120 Thanks for asking!
If you're having trouble deciding between 2 of my entries, I can always e-mail you the second logo if I ended up winning the contest. Also black & white and color versions.
Yes, I'll make sure it's 300dpi. (that is the .jpg file) I will also be uploading an .eps file, which is an editable vector file, the printer should be able to manipulate & change colors on the .eps. It is more difficult to change colors on the .jpg. Also the .eps file keeps the resolution no matter how large or small it is made. Hope this makes sense.
