Hi Dori! Really good design here! I like how the poppies connect with the by Ana, and how the font matches the lines. Also the font for FLOWERS looks great! Just one thing: could you make the "by" bigger?
Also if you have any ideas just send them! Looking forward to anything you may add. Ana
Hi dori! I am excited about logo no #205. But I do have a question: I did not see a statement about this on the website, but I would like to use the logo on different backgrounds, and to be printed on a yellowish paper for a business card, or maybe some white mugs (just the logo not the background). So I want to know if I can use the logo any way I want it: with or without the background. I do not want it to be dependent of it, and if the final version will have two layers: one with the actual logo and one with a light brown rectangle. Also, if for some reason in the future, I want to edit the logo in any way, if that is allowed.
Edit: and another thing: if you could tell me the names of the fonts you used, when the contest will end (so other contestants will not use them, maybe there is a rule about that too). Thanks, Ana
Hi Ana! After the contest ends, you will receive the winning logo in .eps format, .Eps files can be opened and edited with vectorial programs like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw. You can edit the logo in .eps format in any way you want (change colors, modify lines, curves, size, font, background, file format etc.), so it is fully editable. I can save my logo with transparent background, so it will be easy for you to print it on different objects. After you buy the winning logo, you will have full copyright, so you will be able to edit it according to your needs. Regarding the fonts, I can tell you the name of the fonts I used after the contest ends. The font I used for "FLOWERS" is free, the other one requires a license. However, I will post another version of the logo with a free similar font for "by Ana", in case you don't want to purchase the current font.
Just one quick question: If I chose the logo with the paid font I do not have to pay extra unless I want to buy the font and use it on something else, right? Thanks. Ana
