yes, design direction does tend to go in one direction that is the nature of crowed sourcing. When designs are ranked then other follow suite with similar direction, I tend to avoid that as I have done for your project.
which is why I played on the tap and sink idea
I like #128 as it reminds me of brain pathways and atoms
I really like #132 as well. Could you stick to using just 1 colour and no gradients or shadows. I really want this to work as a simple 1 colour design. Is there a way you can hint at the 3D nature of #132 without the introduction of any greys or blacks.
The text at that size and spacing looks classy. Is there any way to slightly thicken up the existing text. I like the way creation is the same width as flow.
As for silhouettes I'm going to have a think. I'm wondering if there is anything relevant to exhibition stands which make up the bulk of my work. Possibly an expo hall landscape. I understand it can't be to imposing on the text and needs to be pretty simple otherwise it won't work.
Sorry, when I say silhouettes I mean the solid shape that cuts in to the Flow. The outline of a landscape or image that you pathfinder out of the text.
there will be no issues with printing either on dark or light surfaces. No problem with vinyl cut the shape and flow will not have any impact on cutting.
Text FLOW is exactly what you see there is not top layer the wave/splash shape is removed so there is no issue with cutting or even embroidering
on another note I am receiving messages from other designers, they really luv the design,
When the contest goes into the 2nd phase (Top 5) it a wee bit more relaxed, during the Top 5 phase the first 5 ranked designers can upload (the top 5 is by designer not the ranked designs meaning designer A can be ranked in sport 1, 2, 3, 4 but is counted as 1. Designer B could have designs in 5,6 and that counts as 1 and so. Does that make sense?
You can shuffle designers around at anytime so if you had a designer ranked at 15 and wanted to see a revision during top 5 you'd simply move one of his/her design tot he top 5 spots. Of course you'd provide design direction.
The same apply for the 3rd phase Judging only the number 1 ranked designer can upload but can only uploaded design changes you have request, once in judging mode no LT member is allowed to upload new designs only changes that you have request. You shuffle designers around in this phase as well.
I use Lightwave 99.9% of my 3d work is for print and web Though I have created several projects that were sent to CAD If you google The Sailing GPS that is one. The website navigation is really bad, the menu links are at the very bottom If you click the youtube video you see the actual product compared to the 3D version
1. hi res 300 dpi jpg cmyk 2. hi res 300 dpi jpg RGB 3. hi res 300 dpi B&W 4. no background PNG 3 sizes for web use 5. illustrator CS 6 or earlier which ever you require and PDF
Wow that was an unexpected surprise, thank you for selecting my work., I've uploaded the required EPS and JPG image the LT system will auto generate 3 jpg small medium and large.
