these designs make use of negative space to show a flowing shape combined of the letters "F and M" and also a faucet.

I like the simplicity of the design but i don't think the abstract design will work for a plumbing company, but I haven't ruled it out. I would rather see a faucet more defined with out making the f and m. Maybe a long curved faucet. i like the 12th entry the best of the 3.

A more curved faucet, as suggested.

I've wasted much time on my previous entries, but I think the new one should give a good reason for extending your contest those few more days. The symbol is simple, easily recognizable and points straight to "plumbing" and not bathroom remodeling or such. Also much more targeted at women (the butterfly) and attention grabbing (the strong red and the central composition). The butterfly wings remind of a water splash.
I've also created a lettermark logo, without the butterfly, better for some uses.

a butterfly? we're not homosexuals! LOL your work looks nice and is of good quality but the concept of it is just not really clicking. just look at the 1 and 2 positions. They've figured it out bc I'm having a very difficult time choosing between the two.

lol, I thought I got it right with the butterfly when going for female clients. I don't think it looks gay, but if you're uneasy with the concept, I can understand that ;)
At this point I don't think I can compete with the top ranked ones, but I'll think about it some more, I'm an ambitious guy.
