Color Preferences
No day glo or obnoxiously bright colors.
I'd like to see high contrast colors with a primary pallet. Don't be afraid to use earth tones as long as they don't necessary dominate the color pallet.
I know it's common to do everything automotive with a black or really dark background - don't feel like you have to do this.
The logo needs to look good on a white background but could also have a version that looks nice on a dark background.
Additionally, we will be laser cutting the logo into metal on occasion so extra consideration will be given to logos that lend themselves to looking good as cutouts. (Please don't go overboard with this, we will be able to manipulate the logo in-house later to make it work with negative space/cutouts. It's just something to think about.)
