i just want to say this logo represent the company name's initial FLE in one nice shape.
it can stand alone like entry #127 and still read as FLE

I do like the look, however my partner says it feels too much like Eron! That is why I kept requesting small changes to see if we could shake that negative feeling!

actually i don't think it will look like Enron, the similarity is just the "E" thing.
this logo i made by presenting the initial of the company name (FLE) in one nice shape, and also have strong/bold look, i thing it is good to represent the brand.
i also do some other variations such as presenting the logo in diamond shape and some graphic styles.
