Obviously the colors can be adjusted. I'm not 100% sure I nailed the text colors...I can easily change those though, so if you like the concept but need tweaks, I am more than willing.

Different direction than expected......which we like,
but maybe it looks too road-sign / state park-ish.....
we are really in the valley of the appalacians. we are in the downtown
area of Johnson City....does this trigger anything from a spiritual
standpoint ???

I took your feedback and modified my original idea. I wanted the sun to appear to be coming from the bible and there is just something striking to me about the path that leads from the name of your church to the bible and a brighter day that stuck with me as I created this. I appreciate the feedback and I hope you find the right image for your church here, there are some amazing graphic artists on this site.

This is a different direction than my previous entries. Still may not be what you're looking for, but I thought I would send this in and give you some options.

thank you......maybe too much "scenery" on this one.....we like your "spiritual" insight on the second one you did.
we are really looking for something that will also stand alone without the logo.....simple, modern, spiritual, city as well as mountains......

This was an attempt at giving you something different. I was going to try to deliver you something a little more somber, but the other designers have really provided you with more serious images. So, I wanted to convey the joy with this image. I do believe that this imagery could work without the lettering as well.

Option without the landscaping but holding onto the joy. I believe this image would work without text and would stand on its own.

love the joy, and vitality ...interesting observation about the others......that may be coming from the fact that my husband who is the senior pastor wants a "stand alone" MARK that is also bold in black and white....
we still think this is a valid direction with some modification.....
Glad to see some "city scenes" too......however, unlike Atlanta where we just moved from,
there are no tall office type skyscrapers....it is more of an old city with 6 or 8 ( ? ) story buildings
and many low buildings....more old hotel height.....check out the Logo for this area
Plum Tree Village Downtown Johnson City...... it is organic with a guitar.....

OH, and the "person image" in this new submission is similar to the Logo we have now and is not really as sophisticated as we would like, does this make sense ?
