Our Ideas & Additional Information
This service is a new division of an existing company, however these two shall not 'meet' so there's no need to match any existing style. My client's business is a well-established firm in New England, where he has establish a strong reputation for building relationships with his clients. This is a quality that possibly could be carried over. The new service will go nation-wide.

As a first-time Contest Holder, I'm curious to see how this contest is going to evolve. 24 hours into my posting and zero entries, I'm starting to wonder what I did wrong? or did not do at all? Any pointers will be appreciated.

Thank you for your message Melisari, it was a pleasure login in this morning!

Thank you designers for your submissions! My client has reviewed them and I have some great feed-back, which initially will help cull out the concept that he does not wish to pursue.

The phone receiver on the house thing received a “no” vote, as the emphasis should not be on the call itself.

If you are proposing a logo with a house, then please consider that the house should be quite elegant, classy, or with some architectural interest, to represent the high-value homes that we are targeting. It may be a tall order in a logo?

An option would be to design a logo as a wordmark only, playing with elegant fonts, "None of them have an elegant enough look to them. I’m thinking I’d like to see something without a house in it…maybe just an elegant font or “wordmark” as they call it."

In closing for now, I'd like to convey my client's comments, who really appreciated the entries which enabled him to start identifying and better formulating what he is looking for.

Thank you again to all!

Sorry for the delay in ranking, I do thank all designers who submitted new and revised entries. The wordmarks are really great , I think this is the way to go with this logo. I will provide feed-back on individual entries directly to the designers at this time.

Good morning designers, it's a later than I had hoped but I was able to rearrange the rankings based on feed-back from my client. With just a few hours left to the contest, both he and I feel that we've received excellent concepts to review. Some of the designs that were ranked high are now moved to the not interested section, as a result of new entries that caught our eyes.

Please note that entries 38 and higher have not been ranked yet, but I plan on being able to do so in about 3 hours, so 11 am Boston time.
