For us, once we locked in on an approach we wanted to stay with it and refine it. We realize we will probably have to change our website, for the reason you mentioned earlier and to work better with the logo. In retrospect, we should have started with the logo first and designed outward from there.
Your variations on the intersecting theme were as good as we could have hoped for. The number of variations you devloped around that theme were amazing. As our company members got together and talked we just couldn't get everyone to feel it was the right theme, even though we all thought it was very good.
We are seeing so many different approaches and it can feel overwhelming at times. We didn't want to keep encouraging or asking designers to work on approaches we weren't interested in. There are a lot of similarities between the designs, but there are also a lot of differences. Once we found an approach we all liked it didn't seem fair to let designers go off in other directions. We did want to refine those approaches and were open to other ideas within that approach.
