Thanks, Best Regards, S 3 years ago Scoggins commented on #97 Withdrawn I really like that you've subtly, in an abstract way, gotten shapes to represent the four areas of focus (sports, fitness, adventure, and training) into the flame. I'd like to see the flame itself look a bit more like a fire, yet keep its subtlity. The colors area bit too close to primary for me, and the teal is a bit too pastel. The colors of the text and style from the second place submission will help direct you choice of color and text. I like that there are two red/orange and two blues in your logo, I would just prefer different hues. I have requested edits from 1st and 2nd place as well. So, don't try to match or redo your design concept to equal theirs. I like the direction you've gone here. Just want to see some tweaks. Thank you for creatively taking this idea and bringing it to life. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. 3 years ago RVICS commented on #84 Withdrawn Thank You, Here is the new entry #97 #98 Best Regards, S 3 years ago Scoggins commented on #84 Withdrawn This is good. I think we are getting closer. Is it possible to give each of the four elements of the flame a distinct color? Not like a rainbow...I'd like to use similar tones, but shades of blue, red, orange, even a little blue/green. I'm very excited to see this come together. 3 years ago RVICS commented on #63 Withdrawn Hello, I'm back and have posted the new concept. #84 #85 Each flame represent the four areas of focus. in a subtle, and abstract way. they can be placed separately as well. let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Best Regards, S 3 years ago Scoggins commented on #63 Withdrawn I am assuming as finalist you can now see the other four designers submissions as well. Is this correct? There are elements of each one that we really like. There are also elements that are missing from each one. Please take a look and see if you can come up with a variation of your logo that has the following characteristics: Communicate the four areas of focus (Sports, Fitness, Adventure, and Trainings) with icons subtly incorporated into the shape of the flames, almost hidden in them. The four distinct flame pieces that make one flame should be able to be separated out to be used to represent their area of focus on a sitemap on the website we are creating. When combined together, they make the Fire logo flame. I really like the way you've incorporated what appears to be mountains in the white space of the flame. Is it possible to use white space to represent each of the four areas of focus in distinct and separate ways within the flames? I would prefer a color scheme closer to that of some of the other finalists (less orange and red...especially primary colors). I'm also wondering if the flames can be a little less "bubbly" in shape and more of the focal point in the logo icon. perhaps the compass element could be removed as Adventure is represented in the mountains. You've done some good work here and I am very excited to see how you tweak this to fit all that we are looking for. 3 years ago RVICS commented on #59 Withdrawn Thank You for your feedback, I have added the new options for the color, #62 #63 Best Regards, S 3 years ago Scoggins commented on #59 Withdrawn I think this is a great start. I like the way you've begun to incorporate representation of the four areas of focus into the fire. I don't care for the colors. The examples I loaded depict more of the color families I am looking for. Thank you. 3 years ago
