Thank you for your feedback. Here is a version with updated font and simplified snake. Back in the first phase of the design I made many sketches to find some impressive and harmonious way of connecting trout to knife and snake. The one above seemed to work best. However I can explore some different approach suggested by you. I will post shortly.

I like this design! Can you please adjust the font to look a little more traditional and all lowercase (see patagonia font, doesn't have to be exact same but a little more traditional). You can also remove the red under throat.

Unsure how to provide more clarity but wondering if you can create same layout but make the trout, bayonet and snake a little more abstract. I do like this version though but would like to compare to a more impressionist, boho or artsy design.

Here's a few ideas links of type of abstract I'm thinking about. Maybe have the snake wrapping around itself at the bottom of logo with trout at the top. Unsure best place for bayonet:
