Just wanted to let you know...I absolutely *love* chocolate, pastry, wine, charcuterie, and cheese! Oh, my goodness...what a wonderful business to be in. :)
I've submitted a completely hand-drawn, custom typeface for you. I have crafted this type myself; it is unique as a result.
If you have any feedback, comments, or ideas, let me know. I'll do whatever I can to bring your vision to life. Have a great afternoon!
17. Jennifer! thank u so much for the open communication:) please see second link i sent re: fonts I like. I look forward to seeing more of your work:) have a wonderful day as well Cheers! Jaime Miller
Thanks for letting me know! I did check out the link you posted; a couple of those fonts I believe I have, so I've used as many as I could find. Please let me know what you think of these latest entries! :) Great to hear from you.
If you have any feedback on these entries as well, I'd be happy to hear it. Thanks again! -Jennifer
Thanks for the top rank, and other high ranks -- very exciting! Glad to be able to meet your needs with my designs.
I've just uploaded two new versions of the current top-ranked design (#25). I noticed you mentioned gold or bronze could be used in the future for printing labels; I've included a version that is in a radiant gold, with somewhat of a raised/embossed effect. I've also included a shadowed version which I believe is what you were looking for. If your request for shadow/background was something different than what I've just uploaded, please let me know. I'll make any adjustments you ask of me.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with me; your feedback is excellent. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on these latest revisions! -Jennifer
I adjusted the color on the shadow line for both the currently first and second rank entries. They no longer have the gray shadows; they now use the color of the logo (a little lighter because it's a shadow).
For each revision, I made a couple versions; basically in the thickness and lines of the shadows. I believe these adjustments are what you're looking for.
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Have a great morning. -Jennifer
I apologize; I must not have understood your request properly. I was under the impression that a "pin line" meant something else. Did it mean something else than the revisions I uploaded earlier? Once again, I apologize for getting that wrong.
Also, I've uploaded versions with darker shadows behind the design. The previous designs were very light, and on other monitors, they could appear to almost disappear. So I've adjusted these colors as a result.
If the shadowed text/pin line/other ideas can be expanded upon, I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
Thanks again for your great feedback throughout this contest -- I'll be happy to hear anything you have to say, even if it may not be pleasant to hear. I take no comments personally, even if feedback isn't always positive. Getting you the logo you really are happy with is the most important goal, and comments are a way to get there, no matter what.
I've just submitted versions of my concept that I believe bring it to life, and demonstrate the vitality you're looking for. I have been scouring the 'net looking for French Bistro identities and signs, and put this latest design together for you. If you have any ideas or further feedback, I'd be happy to hear what you think.
P.S.: I've also added the phrase "Exceptional Cuisine" as a tag line to demonstrate the fullness of this design. I believe it represents your business and your aim to provide nothing but the best to your patrons. If you'd like me to put a different phrase there to see how various tag lines will look with your business name, feel free to let me know. -Jennifer
Thanks for your time, and for the feedback you did provide. It was very helpful.
I'm withdrawing now. This is due to no further communication or feedback from you, and no indication that you desire to work with me in this contest. I wish you the best of luck with your contest, and hope you eventually find the quality design you're looking for. -Jennifer
