These are nice and bright and strong. I like the logomark design in #9 the best but am also intrigued with the use of the "i" dotting in #8 to make the name more interesting and alive. Keep up the good work. Very nice first cut.
I think I'd like to see you experiment with fonts and perhaps the arrangement of colors in the F. Also open to any other ideas you have. You have a nice design sense.
Thanks for feedback. Here I try to combine color and font. Is there any direction for typography? Bold, medium, tin, serif, sans serif? Btw, I love this icon: simple, relevant with product/business, easy to recognize, easy to applied, even in small size. Great for icon, avatar or related use. If there's any changes, new directions or other variations you want to see, just let me know.
If you use an upper/lower font I like the colored "I" dots better when they are square. Most of the fonts are too "cutesy". Font in #30 is probably the best, though in general I prefer sans serif, all caps and something not as heavy as that in #9. Perhaps the icon needs the heavier typeface, I don't know. I like the icon too, but I wouldn't limit yourself to that if you have other ideas. The best two color orders in the icon are #9 and #29 (from dark to light or the reverse). Also wonder what it would look like to change colors between "Fin" and "ario" like some of the others have done.
Thanks for the variations: *let's forget about the colored dots, they really are not working *i think you missed my note on the order of the colors in the icon, best two schemes are as in #9 and #29, the order in #30, 35 & 36 isn't as good *i like the san serif font in #36 and the two tones, but it feels a bit thin in relation to the icon, i'd like to see something a little thicker (but not as thick as #9) *i'd also like to see upper/lower (i.e. Finario) variations on #9, with fonts a bit cleaner or not quite as thick Thx.
