Color Preferences
No particular color limits. you can play with different shades and combine them with other colours (no more than 3). We would like to see logos that also look great when "stripped" to one colour. Other than that, we are fairly flexible and open to your ideas.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
It would be nice to see a few examples incorporating a "film strip" into the logo. Clean and simple might work well. Feel free to use your imagination as the company name says exactly what we provide.

#1 Perhaps showing a slightly bigger icon and placing 2-3 buildings in it with windows could be cool. For example, the white blank space in the icon looks like a tall building without windows. Or another idea would be to include a skyline in the black rectangle area. Just a thought. Also, it might be cool to see a version of the logo where a part of a film strip connects with the bottom of the "F". Good luck and thanks for your effort.

#2 If there is a way to show film from the reel above connecting to the company name from the left side, that would be interesting. Also, if the outline of walls and a roof followed the company name on the right, then I think the idea would feel more complete.

#8 I like the idea. I think the bottom of the logo is a bit distracting. Maybe a cleaner version without the strings and stars would be nice to see. Also, separating the colors of the film strip and the skyline might be interesting. ie. Black film strip with white lettering. Feel free to alter texture, color or gradient to skyline. Good job.

#3 Hey Husk, you are on to something here. The idea of the filmstrip leading into the skyline "properties" is quite clever. I think a better skyline might help the logo. But this is something that I'd like to see develop. Try adding a hint of color or texture change to differentiate between the strip and what its leading to.

#4 Husk, Perhaps filling the rectangle of the clapper with a clean skyline including sky as if it were a picture or drawing would look more interesting than the simple house idea with the windows. Go a little bigger on the size of the clapper so the rectangle image is more visible. Thanks

#2 ... I still would love to see a revision when you have a chance.

#8 Since I'm based in Los Angeles, the skyline should not resemble New York City.

#3 Need to see cleaner more professional font.

#7 I appreciate the simplicity of your design, but I'm looking for something a little more unique.

NOTE TO ALL DESIGNERS!!! A few logos incorporating motion cameras would be a welcomed alternative to the "Film Strip" or "Slate" concept.

#13 Akronix, I like the revision you made to the film and inclusion of windows! I would like to see a couple more windows on the last building on the right side. Also, I think the company name looks a little soft. Perhaps try experimenting with different fonts, CAPS or light to bold. Something needs to give the name more strength. Finally, I would like to see an example with a solid line under the company name. Thanks for executing a good idea.

#26 Hey Husk! I think the concept is cool, but the clapper and the skyline look a bit cheesy like cheap clip art. If you can make it look more unique then I'm definitely interested.

NOTE TO ALL DESIGNERS!!! Please emphasize LOCATIONS in your entries. I think I have several designs containing film to choose from and I would like alternative concepts. My business is LOCATIONS. My clients shoot in all mediums including digital and HD formats. Thanks so much.
