Our Ideas and Additional Information:
The logo will be used as part of our annual Michigan Harvest Gathering Campaign. Please visit www.feedmichigan.org to see that logo. I would like the new logo to complement the colors of that logo as they will sometimes be used together.
If you choose to use the map of Michigan as one of the graphice elements (and I'd like to see that) the Upper Peninsula must be included.
The types of food we will be asking people to virtually fill the fridge with are: dairy, grains, meat, fruits, vegetables. Any fruits/vegetables used in the logo need to be ones that are typically grown in Michigan.

Hi LDs- I've extended the contest for 2 days because I just wasn't seeing a logo that was close to what I'm looking for. Right before I logged in to extend, the logo currently ranked #1 came in. This style and feel and the graphic elements are the type I'm looking for. Now I'd like to see other concepts too. This image will be used in different media, but the main one is on billboards and posters, so the colors need to be bold and the graphic style simple enough (yet enough detail) so that someone can see and read it at-a-glance.
