Hope you like.BestWinger 13 years ago brirdman27 Client I actually like the set up of both of them. However, it looks like the background is mountain/hill like. Not much of those in Louisiana. If you can make the background look more like swamp that would make a big different. google search louisiana swamps to see images (has a lot of cypress trees and moss) Also instead of the bear head (louisiana has black bears but we are not known for them) try a fleur de lis. 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Would love to but there's only 9 mins left in contest!!! Yikes.I would have to be ranked #1 to submit changes...You could always juggle around positions until final choice. Just because you temporarily rank someone #1 doesn't mean they will win. It just gives mea chance to make revisions for you.ThanksBill 13 years ago brirdman27 Client See if that helps, I thought that everyone could make revisions and only new designers were not allowed to enter knew ones. 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Perfect, I'll post the revisions!Hope you like! 13 years ago brirdman27 Client 22 is my favorite. I do like the fence and the font that fence post is written in but wouldn't mind seeing a few other options for these two. 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer OK ... no problem. I'll see what I can do.Thanks! 13 years ago brirdman27 Client Thanks for the additional entries. I would still pick the original font. (#22) None of the others jump out at us...Any others? Also, do you have any other ideas for the fence? I think it needs to be wooden, but Im thinking something a little more weathered....older looking. What do you think? 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer The elegance of my fence is the simplicity of the lines combined with the shading/shadows/perspective (Much like the Typography you picked, which I agree with). It's alway better to keep it simple, if you can. Logos will age better. These Logos are very complex as it is. Any detail in the fence will get mixed in visually with the texture of the trees in the far background... the pespective of the fence fading into the distance is what the fence is all about. The clean fence gives a nice balance against the "busy" set of Cypress trees behind it. We wouldn't want all that texture against texture. It's the less is more way of thinking. Best Bill 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Also, The fence is wooden ... it's based on the traditional white picket fence. Only it's colored with the same colors used in the logo. 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Not to be one to leave well enough alone, I've roughened the Fence a tad and lightened the color a bit #40. I think it's just enough to get rid of the smoothness you were picking up on and still keep the contrast of the original idea of the smoother wooden picket fence against the rougher trees. 13 years ago brirdman27 Client I still don't love the tree behind the fence. Any chance of maybe doing a tree that looks like an oak tree? 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer no problem, I thought you wanted a cypress type tree with moss, my mistake.no worries I'll give you options :-)Thanks. 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Two new trees: A Traditional Oak #50 and a Traditional Cypress #51.I like the Cypress #51 because it has just enough of the "swampy" feel without being scary or spooky looking. I also think It evokes the feeling of the traditional backyard southern charm and hospitality.Hope you like ... sometimes the details can drive you crazy if you let em :) !Regards,Bill 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Sorry New Traditional Oak Tree is #52 (not 50) 13 years ago brirdman27 Client can you make one more version for us?Use the background, fence and shape of 51. Use the font of 16 for "Fence Post"Arch the banner like in 27. Underneath the banner just put a fleur de lisThanks man. 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer no problem, be my pleasure. 13 years ago brirdman27 Client Thanks for the extra submissions, but what we meant with by saying a fleur de lis was more like the one seen in this link: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=fleur+de+lis&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1169&bih=581&tbm=isch&tbnid=4uO7tTzyFydzgM:&imgrefurl=http://www.lisarts.com/camps.html&docid=d8xFPqOQJLK00M&w=528&h=544&ei=xmiKTr_aJaSOsAKI1vGyBA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=639&vpy=245&dur=1622&hovh=228&hovw=221&tx=135&ty=152&page=2&tbnh=102&tbnw=104&start=12&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429,r:14,s:12Also, could you maybe use the font that you used in design #29 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Sure thing, no problem. I thought you wanted the same "curved custom" fleur de lis that was already in use. I can certinally use a more traditional one, but there will be some dead "empty" space on either side, so we'll have to see how that works out.I'll be able to get you some new revisions with a cleaner fleur de lis and the other font late tomorrow afternoon, becasue unfortunately I had to go out of town and I don't have access to my art files.ThanksBill 13 years ago wingerusa Logo Designer Hi Brirdman27Check out the 4 new versions I just posted: #59 #60 #61 #63Hope I understood what you were looking for.-Bill 13 years ago
