Bringing in a design element of a "roll of vinyl" and speed lines to indicate "fast" Plus keeping the mark on the simple side so it will be able to be cut and weeded at small sizes...

All your designs look great but #43 instantly grabbed my attention as it is really the look I am going for. I do have a few issues with it though.

-The lower part of the S (in FAST) is filled in with blue. It doesn't seem to match the rest of the design....feels like there should be a black line in there or something.
-With the "fast" lines in there I don't think I would be able to make this as a die-cut unless they were a little thicker and spaced out more.
-But I may scrap the whole idea of having the design be die-cut friendly. I could print the design on a black background. The left side of the decal would be circular while the right side would slant to the right parallel to the letter's slant. The only issue I see with this would be that there would be a blank area after the T. Not sure if putting a faint .com in there would look right or simply extending the FAST to take up this space.

This is going to be a tough contest to call now. 8)

Fixed the "s" Sorry about that, rid of the negative area there cause I thought it would be too small of an area to weed! But re-aplied so take a look and if you have any other comments or concerns just let me know.
Thanks,Pat

Well Pat, I like the S now (though it's hard to see in the small preview). Weeding out small areas like that is kind of critical but I think if I were to make this as a die-cut I would eliminate the blue around the FAST anyway. Don't get me wrong, the blue needs to stay there but I may need to do some dicing to convert it into a single color decal. But I would also have issues with the "fast lines" that are coming off the tail since they are so thin (both objects and cut lines). But as previously stated I think with this design I would be happy with making a decal that is essentially a solid black slanted rectangle with the left side being circular. I actually think the shape of the decal may be kinda sweet looking so lets not even focus on coming up with making this work as a die-cut style decal.

But I still think I like #43 better (for the most part). I really like the more metallic surface look that the FAST on #43 had. The #33 I think has about the right brightness...kinda a cross between #43 and #46. The white on the #46 just seems to make it have less character. And with the matching white .com right after it, really makes the website look like it is "fast.com". So that idea is out...I'm not sure if toning down the .com would work any better but I definitely see some possible confusion about what the actual web address is if I used this logo. So probably scratch that idea unless you can think of something to make it work.

I do like the solid black "decals" though as this appears that they letters have been weeded out of that part. If I was using a white background a shadow would really make that appear as if it had been weeded out.

Here is two more, both with your comments in mind. Worked on the design with the speed lines done so it will be able to weed. also working in the ".com" which I think works. Metallic finish on the first one, and the second on that I really like, Carbon Fiber... Let me know what you think! Thanks for all the help on getting this one to a good place! Thanks,Pat

After the e-mails going back and forth I think it helped hearing opinions, direction I think it helped me when it came to this last design. It was tough coming up with a "fast In your face" kinda design but keeping it simple enough for other applications. So who knows, I think this one could do it for ya, But take a look and let me know what you think.... Good luck with the judging! Later, Pat
