Hi Sunradi, we like you proposals a lot! Could you try to combine the F and W further, so that they are a united and unique "letter". One of the other designers did this quite well by taking the W as base and putting the f on top of it. In addition, it would be great to get some more "oriental flavor" into the emblem. It shouldn't become to "cheesy" and to playful, but it should become obvious that there is some Turkish background in the family.
For the letters, we really like the first letter type. The new one is a bit to plaful, may be u find a workaround here to bring the letters together... What would also be good to see is the emblem without the letters this dominantly in the middle but somewhere "hidden" on the upper or lower part.
thank you for the new entries, you are really good!
could you please conduct some further adaptations: a) let´s please see how entry # 44 looks with the writing type of entry # 49 b) we like also #49 and would like to take this as basis for further changes: b1) could you please use the lowest outer/bottom part of #44 for #49? b2) could you please replace the Zurich monuments by fir trees? so we have the Zurich mountains with the black forest trees... b3) we had a misunderstanding concerning the pattern. We just gave the links as inspirations. could you please use as oriental pattern that is in the inside lower part the Turkish Airline pattern as orientation. Here are two links: http://www.contemporist.com/2012/02/23/turkish-airlines-cip-lounge-by-autoban/ci_230212_08/ http://www.thebusinessyear.com/publication/article/9/1115/turkey-2012/global-presence
Could you please try to elaborate on the following: 1. Please try to catch more the Turkish Airline pattern (e.g. star has 5 not 6 "corners" and it appears generally like a flower in combination with stars) 2. The mountains with the trees are perfect now. Therefore we want to change the upper part with the stand alone tree and use another symbol from your drafts. Can you do something like #33... 3. Please reduce the complexity of the outside of the emblem in the middle to down part. This is very difficult to explain, but we would like to keep the centre lowest part and the middle upper part but delete the left and right side next to the Turkish pattern. 4. Can you make a byline for this emblem with our full names, like in prior drafts (we would like to be flexible and use it or not use it when we want...).
ok, the last draft is really nice. We will wait for the Turkish pattern in Entry #54.
We have another idea: Please also try to integrate the "Gänseliesel", which is the symbol of the German city Gottingen, where we live now (see for example: http://rocos2k.deviantart.com/art/Gaenseliesel-Vector-277037863 OR http://www.extratip-goettingen.de/img.php?img=2583) The position that we have in mind is on top of the emblem inside of the leave/tree instead of the root with the 3 "arms". She can be black and tiny. In addition, it would be great if you use your newly developed oriental pattern and implement it somehow in the outside lower outer part of the symbol.
Let´s get rid of the things around to make the overall impression a bit leaner. The flags hanging down and also the twirly designs are still a bit too much. Can you try to delete them?
The form around the hat should be something round and not a hanging flag. Cheers, Farah and Willy
can you please delete the four spikes in the lower part of the emblem. The hat shall be surrounded by a round line which connects the hat with the other part of the emblem, like the line of the laugh of a smiley.
Concerning the "modern" touch of the emblem we are still looking for a good idea. Do you have any idea !?
Thank you for giving me some great feedback so far. At this moment I haven't found any great idea concerning the "modern" look yet. If you might have one, please let me know. When I searched some references on the search engine about "modern emblem", what come up are some variation of emblems with ribbon combinations.
Yes, we think it is really nice now. From out perspective it already has some modernity. What could make it a bit better is to smoothen out the middle sides on the right and left. We like it but we could try to also take away the twirles here to make the emblem leaner and more modern. Could you also try to write our names below in the same letter type as the initials :-)
Just one last test, just to see it. Can you delete all surroundings on top, side and bottom. Remaining the Gänseliesel on top, the main body and the hat at the bottom.
good, but can you please leave some design elements around the Gänseliesel on top and Black forest hat on bottom. Like this it looks too "slim" and "naked". The rest is nice...
now that we have some great versions, it´s time to play around a bit to come to an end.
Could you please try once to delete the lower part outside of the emblem with the circle and hat, and integrate the hat in the lower part within the emblem, instead of the oriental pattern. This pattern we would like to exchange with the mountains in the upper part within the emblem. Thus leaving us with the oriental part underneath the trees in the upper part, the hat in the lower part and the mountains vanish fully. Or do you have another good idea based on this?
Good morning Sunardi, we are not really convinced of the last update. We actually like it but think we have to work a bit on the overall impression to make it perfect. Could you try to work on the following: Option1: Take oriental pattern in lower part again and bring together trees and hat in upper part Option2: In upper part combine trees and oriental part in two sections on top of each other
Your are of course also free to play around a bit and see what looks nice, when the discussed elements are all unified within the emblem.
In addition, we would like to ask you to adapt the upper edges of the emblem a bit. We think that at the moment it seems a bit dominant and strong. May be it would make sense to bring in the banderole again smoothen it a bit without the strong edges.
Hi Sunardi, sorry, but we are a bit stuck... The upper outer part with the Gänseliesel is great. Also the oriental pattern, the symbol for hat and trees we like a lot. Where we don't see ourselves at the moment is the way how the tress, mountains and the hat are displayed. We would rather see this combined in one element without a diverging line in the middle. And where we particularly are not sure how to finalize it is the upper part of the shield with its strong/sharp edges and the design elements around it (like the banderole you have integrated again). To be hones, we also don't know, how to improve this. Without the elements it is too "heavy". With the elements its too cheesy and old-fashioned... Do you have any idea how to improve on this!? BR, F&W
To be honest, when you said "great" on my previous entry, I thought we were so closed to what we are looking for. But reading your recent feedback and looking at what we are developing I think we are not even a half way to what we are looking for. I'm sorry if I am going to the wrong direction. I wish I could help you with my best solution, but I'm also stuck at the moment. I'm sorry.
ok, well. Then let us try to do this.... 1. In upper inner part, take out line between tress/mountains and hat and put everything in one combined element (e.g. put hat in front of mountain instead of right trees) 2. To smoothen out strong/sharp edges on outer side of shield bring in some new/additional oriental pattern, like the one you used in entry #46, but smoother and more discreet
well, we´re not really improving on the oriental shape. But Entry #76 is pretty nice. Let finally work on this one.
Can you try to do the following, each without Farah and Willy written out: Option 1: In Entry #76 make line between mountains and hat finer Option 2: Integrate in Entry #76 the part with the trees, mountains and hat from Entry #78, but delete on the right side all trees and put the hat in that spot (can also become smaller)
we hope you are fine. We will decide today which design to pick, but are still not totally convinced of the different options. We like entry #90 very much. Would you be willing to work with us on the final design a bit more, so we can use it in the future as our family logo?
Have you received our Last message? We would really like to finalste our Symbol with you, singe you out very much effort into it ans we like it alot. But still need some adaptations. Do you agree to work with us a bit more on it? The decision will be taken today so let us know:-)
