What We Do
FSNA offers two programs: Victim Services & Prevention and Workforce Development & Education. We serve victims/survivors of rape and human trafficking and we host parenting classes and provide education for parents seeking jobs/careers.
Our mission statement is:
Family Services of North Alabama acts to restore hope and dignity to all individuals and families by empowering them through advocacy, education, and resource networking.
Color Preferences
Being a non-profit, we're always pinching pennies. We definitely want color, but the fewer the better. Sharing it on social media and our website is great, but I also think about t-shirts.
I would say no more than two colors, if possible.
The color for Sexual Assault Awareness Month is teal. The color for Child Abuse Prevention Month is blue. We fall under both categories.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our former logo has Family Services of North Alabama in a round border and a weird looking dove in the middle. I hate that logo, but I like being able to use the rounded border with our name in it and putting an event or a partner logo in the middle to show collaboration.
We're really open to any new ideas at this point.
We want to convey something simple with something elaborate ... to convey it to the least educated to the person with a phD.
Something critical ... to include the whole family.
