Hey!

I had to have a go at this one... I love rollerderby! :)

#3 I've gone with the two pink wheels as a visual pun on breasts. I've had a look at your website to get ideas around fonts and will keep working on that aspect... any thoughts? DO you want it punk, girly, army...

I've not included the ribbon just yet as I want to be sure that legal permission to use it isn't an issue. If you're doing an official event, I'm sure you can get permission, but it might be worth checking it out. The good designers here are all keen to avoid copyright issues!

Cheers,
Robin.

#6 More front on to make the pun more obvious.

Yeah iRobin! You have some great derby in Australia!

I love the wheels, those are great. If you can somehow incorporate those with a ribbon (I have permission for this event) That would be fabulous. I'm a printer, so I can work the text in if that's too much, but was thinking about making it curve around the outside of the ribbon.

#5 love the wheels, maybe try to put a ribbon behind the wheels?

#10 with the ribbon flowing over the wheels and the bout title arched over the top. I've used impact as the font, being condensed it fits well.

Can you tell I'm enjoying putting this one together... Much more fun than the normal doctor or lawyer logo. :)

Cheers,
Robin.

#13 Just read your comment on the t-shirts. I've set this file up to only use black and magenta inks in the separations... and and a few little adjustments while I was at it.

Do you use direct-print or screen print when you do t-shirts? If you need no gradients for a screen print I can simplify the design.

Cheers,
Robin.

#15 hopefully not becoming inappropriate, but the colours have been changed around to exaggerate the visual pun.

OMG! We love the pun art... but prob won't use it - not sure if folks might be offended but we love it. LOL Thanks for the chuckle this morning.

Appreciate the work on the colors - but the baby pink lettering is little hard to read. Maybe work with #13 to see if the title text can be a bit more wow. Otherwise, #10 is still our #1.

Thanks,

Glad you got a giggle from #15! I reckon it would turn a few heads. :)

#24 I'm wondering if the title should just be straight black to push the graphics forward and give the words some weight... and use a destroyed font as per #25 to give it that roller derby edgy feel.

I thought you and the rollergirls might like this... A story on our national news about all the roller derby leagues from around the country coming to my hometown. :)

Thanks for the story, that's fabulous!

Like #24 - Question though, can we add some more shadow to the ribbon to make it pop out just a bit? We like the destroyed font but it was a little hard to read. Super excited!

#33 I've lightened the ribbon a touch, deepened the shadow and enlarged the title.

Hey Robin!

Do you think you can send over a signed print of the logo you made for us so we can auction it here at the fundraiser? Let me know - we'll frame it here.

Thanks!
