Here is my logo for your consideration. The background of the field with stripes could be easily substituted out for other things—hardwood for basketball, grass/sand for baseball, ice pattern for hockey, etc.

Let me know if you would like to see other variations of the logo, and I will submit them.
Thanks.

Very nice. I ennvision using Entry 4 (rank 1) on marketing material and then maybe just the sheild without the web address on my my site. I like the outline around FAB and 5 on entry 4 but not too big on the gradient. Its kinda hard to read. can you lessen the gradient?

No problem. I will work with the gradient effect, and submit some new versions for you tonight.
Thanks for the quick feedback.

P.S. - You will probably see myself and some friends on there, once the site launches. (Can't get enough fantasy football/baseball!) I am assuming you are planning on being ready for this upcoming season?

Here is a revised logo with a more legible gradient effect... The shield on it's own will also follow...

I really like idea of switching out the background for basketball, baseball, etc. Can you take the green words from #9 and throw them on #13. i purchased the name fab5fantasysports.com because i like the way the "5" looks in the name. So, on #13 remove www.fabfivefantasysports.com and replace with Fab5FantasySports.com from #9. Also, brink the gradient back up just a tad on 13 and 14.

BTW - i am planning on running the first game the third week of this season.

That sounds good; I will make those changes as soon as I get home tonight. I like the idea for using the # 5 instead of "five", because it looks better and it's a less wordy url for people to type too. (Is the name any kind of nod to the Michigan basketball team with Webber and those guys?)

(This is making me even more excited for my upcoming draft too. Football is in the air...)

Here is a revised design, with the Fab5 text at the bottom. Also, I adjusted the gradient again.

Nit-picky time...i like the color of the 5 better on #13 than #21. can you change #21 to match the color of #13 and bring it up higher in the 5 to reduce the white space on the top part of the 5 on #21? also, on #21 can you reduce the font one level and add ".com" to the words. so it would say "Fab5FantasySports.com"

would you be able supply basketball and baseball?

this is my first time on this site, do you supply a .psd file?

thanks,
Eric

That sounds good. Definitely be as picky as possible; it will ensure the logo is exactly what you want. I will make those changes, and resubmit for you soon.

As for baseball & basketball, that would be no problem. I will post them as soon as I can get around to finalizing them too.

And I supply a vector file, which will open in Illustrator—it is required if you ever wish to print, embroider, etc. in the future. The site here requires us to submit an EPS file, which is vector and print-ready, but it is a file you can open via Photoshop. I can also make it a PSD, so that you can access it via Photoshop, but the initial layers would all be flattened sine it was all made in Illustrator. (My advice would be to get Illustrator, if possible. It has the same visual layout and functions as Photoshop. But is able to make vector artwork, rather than raster/pixel artwork, which would be what printers, designers, etc. would ask for.)

And then I would also give you JPG, GIF, PNG, or whatever else you prefer for your web images.

Here is a basketball one. Did you want to keep green as the main color throughout? That is probably what I would suggest; that may be best for branding purposes. Otherwise, let me know if you would like to see a dark orange or brown as a substitute for the green here.

Congrats! I chose #14 cuz i liked the gradient the best on that one. And i would like #13 with the words from #24. (space taken out between "fantasy" and "sports"). also for grins, my wife really liked the logo i ranked #2 in the contest, would it be possible to modify #14 with a similar shaped shield thats in that image to look at?

P.S. i got my hands on a copy of Adobe Illustrator CS4

That all sounds good. I will upload the one winning file first, as required by the site here. And then leave that pending, and I will email you all of the other versions. And then once you determine that you have everything you need, you can go in and click "Approve".

I will start to finalize everything right now!
Thanks for working with me, and thanks for choosing my logo.

You should see the initial file uploading soon, with the others to soon follow. Glad you were able to get Illustrator too! You will love it once you learn it all.
