Culinary Cachet for a Caffeinated Culture
What We Do
We are starting up a few retail locations to heighten our existing coffee and tea commercial service business. We will be featuring coffees and teas but we will also be offering specialty chocolates, honeys and the like (basically anything that goes hand in hand with coffee and/or tea). The theme of the stores and the goal of the logo is to convey sleek and contemporary yet warm and organic. I have the typeface in vector form. I just need ideas to strengthen the textural background of the typeface.

Earth Tones: Specifically Pantones 471c for a Burnt Orange, 465 for a Khaki...touches of 371 green, black, white, or 188 red can be integrated as well but the orange and khaki are key.

I'm the graphic designer for the company...I feel that I do certain things well and textural backgrounds and icons are where I could use some external opinions...so if I sound fussy, I apologize. The Extrava text logo has already been created and legally copywritten so that can't be altered much...you can download the file from http://tinyurl.com/nke8vq
Since the main part of the logo has been created, It should be pretty easy for designers with conceptual background or freeform icon experience to put their finishing touch on it...which is why I only set the award at $250. I'm thinking that the typeface should be the focal point with it flowing into or out of the mark.
