Our Ideas & Additional Information
1. I think its still a good idea to use the 'A' as a house device just like the existing logo but feel the house 'A' could be more obvious, better keeping it simple,
2. The main logo idea for this context is to find an emblem/idea or picture to translate the new ' Escape every day ' strapline so positioning us to focus on the benefits of what we do rather than raw construction.
3. Feel free to change everything. My main request is that the logo stays simple and strong as we do a lot of small print ads and need it to work well when the ad is a smaller size.
4. Ive included the existing logo as a file.

As the website uses the logo colours extensively and it works well I would like to keep those main green/pink colours but happy to add one more if needed.

Hi Guys
This contest is intended on bringing out the " Escape every day " aspect of our new positioning of the business. Up to now we have pretty much focusses on what we do and how we do it - builders!. This new repositioning will see us expand our offering from one product range to three and from one building process to two....its a big shift for us.

We now wish to focus our brand on the benefits of what we do - rather than - what we do and how we do it.

We supply a lifestyle product as opposed to a construction project.... Escape every day to a special place, a daily desert island where you can rest, read, relax, connect, eat - - or dine or work or watch tv - - -light, space, and relaxation improve your health, your mood and usually your relationships too. Hi Team
I can see that you have immediately gone and worked on the house device. PLEASE note that this is NOT the main idea Im looking to improve - but - we are looking to bring the benefits of the product alive.

I like the idea of a smile being made out of the O O . A smiling happy image would be a good image, maybe.... an image of the Sun would be good as the glass rooms get a lot of sun light.... birds cheeping in the garden.....flowers..... These are just ideas as I dont have a firm plan but the smile is an interesting idea. I hope that helps but please dont spend any time extending the house device or making it more complex.

Maybe my brief is sending some of you wrong signals! If so Im very sorry about that!!!

The house device may or may not fit in to the new concept for the logo. Please do not make this the focus.

What Im looking for is a "lifestyle" device to bring the logo to life for example Happy People, Happy House, Relaxed People/House, Flower, Sun Rising, Sun Setting, People Relaxing.....People escaping to the conservatory every day ..... Ive seen a logo that had a heart inside a house ( habitat.co.uk ) and that brought an emotion to the logo/house..... something along those lines is what Im looking for. A simple clean, clear device like that and if it can be incorporated in the company name thats fine and if not thats fine too.

Please dont spend time on the House device until you have nailed a new concept.

Message to All - please keep up the great work. The best clue I can think of to move this forward is to look at www.habitat.co.uk logo and see how simple and effective this is...it sends the house being loved message. Our message is the you can have "a place to escape to every day" to rest, read enjoy the light and the a place where you can be in the garden but still be inside the house in your glass conservatory....... Good Luck and thank you all this is moving forward now but please dont spend time on a House -its about an emotional "lifestyle" message..... Respect, Craig
