We really like the font you created, #1 is our favorite one (we prefer the "e", unfortunately it is too similar to a french cultural website www.evene.fr). We find your propositions very elegant and sober, but in our opinion there could be more dynamism and energy. The work you did on the colour of the font in the #2 is interesting. Maybe is there something to do with the 4 first letters (expo) in the #1 (which fit together with your home made font) to get a distinctive element ?
We sadly notice that you no longer make proposition for this contest. As you can notice, our brief has evolved a little bit, maybe you will find inspiration ?
Very pleased to see you back ! As you will see in the logo we ranked, we now are looking for a good font, a great shape, and many colours... and off course an contemporary-art and entertainment identity !
Thanks for your propositions. At first, we didn't rank some of your logos, but on a second thought we really appreciate #116. The idea is strong, easy to remember, elegant and modern.
We would like to see different versions of this logo, to find the perfect fit. Perhaps you could try the following ideas : - a more "pepsy" color - different versions of the form (rectangles, space between rectangles, angle of the slope) - an horizontal text (the first letter on the top of the first square, the fourth on the bottom) - the letters could be less "constrainted" in the rectangles - letters "e" and "a" could be exactly the same, but symetric.
Could you also propose an button for iPhone application (square format) form this logo (maybe the four first rectangles only, without anything written).
Just a few more comments on the spot : we prefer an empty space in the middle, and maybe you could try to write the name underneath the form (the form would be alone then, without letters written in it, but each letter would be under a rectangle).
thanks for those new propositions. We would like to see the #116 with the color of the #119 or a pop colour. The space between the squares in the #216 seems good, but we prefer the squares to be straight. The name written in the shape is better we think, and the space with the "n" in the middle is good. We want to keep (or even emphasize) the perspective, the impression of depth. For the iPhone app, it would be interresting to see it with only the four squares of the left, or two squares on the left and two squares on the right (and the space in the middle), and without anything written.
Could you please enlarge #116 that we can see it better please ? It looks small compared to other logos... Could you try some small variations on #116 without changing its shape : - different bright colors (but one color per logo !) - write letters in black not in white - write exponaute letters in horizontal
Us again ! We would be glad to see the #231 in black and white. We are also interrested in the #119 in black and white, and with a play with the line (it could be not only with the letters, but also on the sides of the word for instance).
thank you for these new proposals ! as you can see you, you are now ranked first and second.
Could you please try #267 with horizontal letters ? Could you also try #268 with a more masculine font ? Could you try to design an iPhone app from #268 . perhaps you could use the letter "x" with the horizontal line on both sides...
what is your favorite one ? what do you prefer ? what do you think of these logos ?
We really like #267 but we would like to see slightly different versions (in black and white).
Could you make it easier to read by trying a bolder font or larger rectangles ? As you can see on evenko (http://www.evenko.ca/), letters are smaller in their shape (there is more space on both sides of each letter...).
Could you also try without the four black rectangles on the right side of the logo ? (just "expo" letters in black rectangles)
Could you try to vertically center the letters in the rectangles ? (spaces above and beneath will be the same)
Also (but this is a different idea, try it separetely), perhaps you could try to work on the shape of the rectangle to make it more special.
You wanted to thank you for the great designs you proposed for this contest. We finally decided to select another logo, but we very much appreciated your work !
