Exceptional CVsLogo Design Contest

#5 Liking the basic idea, the "CV moving forward",
The paper is a bit long, maybe only one or 2 sheets
the logo does not look crisp
Teal is too tentative maybe a stronger colour

#9 The Spiral puts acros the impression of complexity and confussion and 10 - 11 not the message of clarity and precision that they would excpect in their resume.

#8 The colour combination is still not right - sorry I dont not know what is but I know what is not.

#6 Looks like a holiday company not professional services

#14 Like the clarity, the brown I am not keen on and the paper device overwhems the design, may be just too dark, it may also be interesting to see it in outline. Thank you

#15 Nice, Wonder how it would look with "Exceprional" in slightly larger type?

Anyone like to try a script font for "Exceptional"?

#20 Welcome, but unfortunately the style is top heavy and not subtle enough.

#26 welcome - The font and general style is too casual but I do like the way the CV turns into a tick.....

DESIGNERS - Could you try out a combination of the tick idea on the CV and the paper device? on plain white backgrounds.

This area is for general comments or briefing updates...pointing out individual deisngers here really needs to be on the deisgners page

Hi Colin, without feedback it gets difficult to beat the Rank 1 for the below rankers. If you want some iterations to logos that are not Rank 1 please leave a comment in the designer profile page.

@bigbadbear Yes it's banned, but only if you succeed in convincing others that somebody stole your idea, you can start a trial in the LogoCourt or a topic in the Forum -> Designer Resolutions. Honestly I agree with you on this one, if it was your original concept in this concept others shouldn't use it.

I thought this was a competition to give the client what they want - the main benefit of using a site like this was the ability to see many ideas and then refine them - You have removed a design that was of interest!!! and was influencing the design of others.

I have already asked some designers to make changes for example ghiest # 50 who has not provided any changes, so if the designer is not going to respond to my request - let someone else provide the solution....

You should not be angry. I understand your point but try to understand the designer's feelings too. We are not one team here - it's a competition as you mentioned, and the winner takes it all so it's not permited designer's to use each other concepts. And it's made this way so you as client could get as many different concept and designs as possible - not like going to some design studio where for much more money you'll be given only 5-6 variants.
Here you get - right now 117 entries. But we as designers have to defend our original concepts and it's forbiden to steal each other I hope you get our point.
I'm sure you won't be happy if someone steal your business concept and try to use it to take your cutomers.

@bigbadbear just followed the designer code of conduct, and I gave him a friendly advice since I've been suffering the same many times before, so please don't be angry - I hope we uderstand each other.

less shine and shades that publications can't print
