Is it a question of the saved format, that the shiny effect in #29 looks much better than in your logo design #34 and #35? Is it strong compressed .gif or.jpg? Is the original version better? For us the shiny effect in #29 looks much better. Also the blue colour of "city" looks a bit too turquoise. I think it´s also a problem because of the saved file format right? The colour of the big "C" circle, left of the company name, seems to be good and nice.
i made the greys and blues much darker which really brings out the shine. and if the CITY does look pixely it really isnt. it must be the image. this logo has a modern-corporate feel to it. i wanted to convey something that was very simple but timeless. which i think i have done. i have kept to font the way it is because of its modern-ness. which is what you stated what you wanted. i havent gone with a most "cresty" design because, although nice, they are very sophisticated and royal and not very corporate. this is a little insight to my design:)
