Here are my submissions for your consideration. I have several powerful symbols and I think that the ideas that they represent are a good match for your business logo.

A brief summary of some of the concepts:

#33 - Inner strength through understanding and tapping into the energy stream within ourselves. The twist on the ying-yang symbol was best to embody this meaning.

#36 - The compass, as the guiding tool to find the right way to live. Combined with "ES" initials that are made using the principles of the golden ratio.

#34 - The healing power of a tree life, and its ability to open our perceptions and gain self awareness, wisdom, acceptance, peacefulness.

#41 - The mountain as a place where peace and harmony is in abundance, and it being a great source of wisdom and knowledge.

thank you,

Hi Mint,
thanks a lot for your submissions and for the thoughtfulness put into the concepts.
I really like the yin-yang symbol with the star in the middle... could you play with the colors and font a bit more for these?
I don't want to go with the tree, because lots of counsellors use this symbol and the other ones looked a bit too corporate for my personality. I am looking for simplicity, warmth and accessibility in the symbol. I think the letters ES would be intimidating, especially for a young adult seeking help.
hope that is helpful.

I have kept the wording dark grey so that you can focus on the symbol and the coloring. Later we can color the wording too.
