#43 I really like this one. I want to think about the symbolism for a while and mull it over. I like the fact that the artwork can be a stand-alone-logo. I think it needs to be polished a bit. I like the fact that the quill and the vectors down below seem to be showing action. It's almost as if the quill is scribing something inside of a book? I really like it. We don't like the tail in the "Q"....we want something a bit less danglilng for the "Q."

Thank you for your feedback.
I'm glad to know that you like my concept. I know my first concept is still flat and plain.

Please give me your opinion on this new revision. (#44)
Thank you.

#44 The "Q" is much more of our taste now. I see how you flared out the graphics on the bottom right of the quill. And the colors are altered...Hmmmm....I would like to see what color concepts we can open the house up to...What if we went with a red roof and opened up the rest of the house to a different color scheme? We could perhaps have the quill fade in color as well? I think this concept has alot of potential but I think it's missing something or the coloring is lacking...although we think the artwork is very bold and striking. We are looking for something identifiable from afar as well.. since we will be putting it on "for Rent" and "for sale" yard signs.

Thank you for your quick respond.

Well, I'll do playing on the colors. Bright, bold and identifiable from a far. So far I just see dark orange would fit to Red and Black. I'm not sure to play too far from your identity image, actually. What do you think?

(Another color combo's #45 #46).

Thank you.

#43 & #44 Ok, you are probably right...perhaps we shouldn't stray from our colors. We think we want the black roof, with the lighter red color for the house in #44 and with the black graphics at the bottom as well. You mentioned before that it is very linear...is there a way to add dimention to it without getting too detailed and bogged down?

So, I have to enhance it back from #43 then. OK, black roof, a little dimension but not too detailed.
All right. Here I made a little changed on the roof, a lighter red on the house, and I take off the right page of the book to make it simpler and more united. (Reference entry #47). I hope I haven't gone too far from your expectation. :)

Please give me your further direction.
Thank you.

#47 I like the direction of the shading and color toning. I like the chimney multi dimension. The red on the left hand of the house may be too bright...it seems like it bleeds a bit? Could I see the space between the "ESQUIRE" and "property management" shrunken a bit....and go with a gray/silver for property management so it doesn't take away from ESQUIRE? Perhaps the color can match the gray tones in the right side of the book?

Well, thank you.

You're right. The "property management" placement is also bothering me for its unbalance looks.
Grey/silver color would be perfect. Thanks.

#48 Ok, I like the silver font color much better on "property management." Regarding the house color...both sides of the house on each side of the feather are now exactly the same...I actually liked the variance in color you were representing before...perhaps we can work in a lighter shade for the house and utilize a shadow effect on the structure of the house as a result of the feather? I don't know which side would be shaded? Would the right side be lighter since the right side of the roof is lighter in color than the black left side? Would the feather cast a shade on the left side of house? I am getting confused visually...but I am excited about the concept.

#48 I was looking at your portfolio. I saw one where you did a seal type of logo. I was wondering how this artwork would look in a seal? "Esquire" on the top and "property management" on the bottom of the seal? I never really thought of going this direction, but I think your artwork on this one might lend itself to a natural seal?

Seal type? Hmmm...

I'm afraid it would a little bit more complex. But I'll try.

Thanks.

Please give me your opinion on the latest revisions from earlier concept (#49, #50).
I'm not quite sure about the reflection of the feather, so I made two variations.

The seal type, as you asked for (#51). I think it's a little bit old style, but you tell me. :)

Thank you.

After analyzing a little more about the seal concept, I think it would be perfect for picturing the attorneys part of your company. I could imagine how it would be perfectly placed on the middle of the letterhead. (Reference #51)

Thank you.

#51 Is the seal type outdated and old style? You probably no better than me. I definitely want to have a "current" style logo especially since it will be very prominent on our website. I think the seal looks kinda nice...perhaps more suited to put on my car or a T-shirt?

#49,#50 The feather shading isn't the right call, you are right....I am going to sleep on it and look at them again tomorrow. Is there some other type of highlighting we can do? I think it needs to be polished up somehow.
