Thank you very much for your entry!

Plus: We like the pictorial part very much. It has a very strong recognition value in a simple, but very clear and direct way. It will also work as an emblem as well. This is the best idea so far.

Minus: The crown in the symbolic-e would need some more attention. We do not like its style too much. Also the spacing of the single elements should fit better.
The Wordmark needs a shape up. The difference in strength might be a good idea but we do not like the font too much. Please try some different fonts and styles.

Thank you for adding new files (#27 #28)

The new versions are unfortunately not an improvement. Can you please come back to #3 and change the crown like this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1070439/3_opt.jpg . Further it would be interesting to see if a crown like this http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-4190684-crown-sketch.php would match better to the pictorial mark. And: we like the e in #3 as it is. This brings out the general question: does the pictorial mark and the wordmark necessarily have to use the same font? Or is it a NO GO to use different fonts? We like your new font a lot, but not the e in the pictorial part.

Thank you for your comments.
I can't see this link http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1070439/3_opt.jpg
I'm going to keep the original pictorial mark changing the crown and I will keep the last wordmark.
Thank you!!

Thank you very much for your updates #49 #52 #53

Nice work on #52 #53. The crown fits much better with the rest of the pictorial mark. The font-difference between the sign and the rest seems to work well. Can you please invert the pronouncement in the wordmark to see if it looks better? That means: e and King bold, Smoke regular.

#49 Sorry for beeing unclear. We want the style of the crown not do be a sketch. We are interested to see the shape of the crown as a new version.

Thank you for uploading new versions #64 #65 #69 #70 #76 #77

We are still fine with crown in #52. I guess we can nail that one. But thank you very much for the further versions. They really helped us to get sure on that matter. The reverse font in #64 works too, but we are not sure which way it would be best. On one hand it is common to put the focus on e and King. On the other hand it looks smoother to reverse the pronouncement. But this takes us to the result that it might be better overall to put the eSmoke and the King into two lines instead? Still we are not sure about the font.

Thanks for updates #105 #106 #107 #108 #124

#105 #106 are not our taste. #124 is nice, but the e is too different to the one in the pictorial, so we think this does not work. #107 is nice, we like that font. But the spacing in the KING is too much, this interrupts the word. Can you flip the pronouncement to e and King instead of smoke?

#108 looks very good, even though it reminds a little bit on the BurgerKing Logo now ;) The idea of getting the words connected to the Sign seems to work. Let´s try to work on that (for example: using capital letters for ESMOKE).

In that matter we thought about another possible solution to get the pictorial part working better with the wordmark: could you design a S and K in a circle as well and connect them to the existing e-sign, so that it is 3 circles with letters, the first with steam and crown (or maybe play around with that…)
The target is to get the logo wider, allowing a wordmark underneath it to be very basic, as in #107.

Thank you very much for the new versions #127 ... #132

#130 is well designed. We can see that you already found the best way for the letters to work with each other. This is (besides the final rank) a further option to go with the logo anyway.

We like the wordmark in #132 very much. This seems to be the best coalition for the lettering and the pronouncing. Very seemless, nice job!

But we are still not sure if we give up on #108 #129 too early. Can you please split the lettering of #132 into two lines (maybe keep the e low) to see how this looks?

I guess we are getting pretty close to the winner...

Thanks again for updates (#134 #135).

Please change the 'n' of KING to be in similar style to the 'm' of smoke, but bold.
