Our Ideas & Additional Information
We want to have a facelift/redesign of an existing logo.
Existing: http://eslgfx.net/media/news/media/esl_logo.PNG

Essential elements to keep:
- typography of "ESL" (might be altered slightly)
- the three stripes in some form
- the color scheme

Can be redone:
- The shape can be reworked or opened
- The emblem style can be reworked or transformed into a pictorial, abstract or wordmark
- "Electronic Sports League" has to be removed

Problems we have with the old one:
- the logo is hard to use in horizontal areas, where we would want to have the stripes to the left
- the logo is hard to used as an endorsing brand with lots of subbrands (example: http://www.vtldesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/logo_architecture.jpg)
- it WILL be used inside a endorsed brand architecture in the future (as the main brand in the architecture)

Thank you for your ideas and input!

The typography can be adjusted slightly, as long as it is still close to the existing "ESL" font.

Examples:
- #12 or #8 are okay, they keep our original
- #3 would be too much of a change, since the "E" is very far away from the original

But: It is not necessary! If it stays like it was we are completely fine. Only adjust if it really fits to your new idea.
