ESLLogo Design Contest

The League that matters.

It creates tournaments (for players and viewers) surrounding computer games.

primary: blue, white, black/anthracite

secondary (not necessary): orange, red, grey

We want to have a facelift/redesign of an existing logo.

Essential elements to keep:
- typography of "ESL" (might be altered slightly)
- the three stripes in some form
- the color scheme

Can be redone:
- The shape can be reworked or opened
- The emblem style can be reworked or transformed into a pictorial, abstract or wordmark
- "Electronic Sports League" has to be removed

Problems we have with the old one:
- the logo is hard to use in horizontal areas, where we would want to have the stripes to the left
- the logo is hard to used as an endorsing brand with lots of subbrands (example: http://www.vtldesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/logo_architecture.jpg)
- it WILL be used inside a endorsed brand architecture in the future (as the main brand in the architecture)
