Thanks very much. I personally like it a lot, especially the colors, but the feeling it expresses is a little sedate. I think we need something with a bit more energy, more exotic, if that's possible within this vein.
I have gotten some survey feedback regarding the palm tree. Many think that limits my product to only beach vacations. Instead many 'exotic' locations that we focus on are not tropical and don't have palm trees. So wondering if you have any ideas to keep the same logo feel but have a more universal 'exotic' icon??
Hello! I am just realizing that I should incorporate the future web site "EscapismTravel.com", so would like to also incorporate ".com" somewhere in the text, but very discretely! Many thanks!
Yes, the colors do blend better! I will retire the other purple version. Will need to think a bit on Orange vs Purple vs Gray! Many thanks again for all your efforts.
Agree on the softer Purple. My Purple suggestion doesn't harmonize with the rest of the colors on the tree. I like the Gray a lot too, but needing to consider its "attention grabbing" potential. Will need to reflect on these ... Many thanks for indulging!
I think the purple is too strong compared to the rest of the colors. It stands out too much, in my opinion.
The softer purple from the other entries might work better, however, it's up to you to decide which one you like better.
I'm liking the Purple! From a design viewpoint is there anything that doesn't work with that change? Your purple may integrate better with the other colors though.
I don't think it can get too much bolder without starting to become illegible. But somehow I still think it is getting a little lost ... or I've been looking at these too long! Only alternative would be to try the Purple 153/0/204 or Green 0/200/130 of the palette. No rush ... if/when you have time. I'm pretty happy with it as is. Thanks!
Not a problem. I've just posted two options with the colors you suggested (#78, #79), plus one with my own suggestion (#80).
Let me know your thoughts on these.
Just saw the Gray one. Very nice too .... Thanks!!
So I have one more request, if possible. Can we try a couple of other Turquoises that are more blue'ish on the 'Escapism Travel". One thought is RGB 10/203/238 or perhaps darker like 10/175/238 .. or whatever you might recommend. Thinking the current color might wash out in certain instances. Not sure if the graphic colors would then need to change as well. I'm no designer ... ;-)
I still like this font too! Tough decisions!! Can it perhaps be a tiny tiny bit bolder? And can you play with the 'Extraordinary Vacations' so that alignes beter with the text above? Sort of per my comments on #61? Thanks!
I am liking this one the most! Thanks!! My only suggestion is to incorporate the bolder 'Extraordinary Vacations' from #57. One thing I like about this version is the alignment between the 2 lines of text. Perhaps they can be arranged in the new version so that 'escapism' and 'extraordinary' align exactly with each other, and the same for 'travel' and 'vacations'??
Yes! I really like the new design and the linear format. Also the choice of colors!! Thank you. Can we try a few different font colors other than the Moss Green (my monitor?). I had imagined the 'ESCAPISM TRAVEL' to be in Turquoise and perhaps the 'Extraordinary Vacations' in Orange. But I leave it to you for some better creativity as you see fit. I just think we need to pep up the text a little. We could also play with the font styles to add some conservative whimsy ;).
Tried to edit the above, but too late. Wanted to add that Coastal Dental and Bublu are 2 of my favorites, so hoping to integrate those 2 somehow and keep a vibrant tropical escapism feel.
I am very happy to see your submission! I very much like the simple and clear style, as well as the tone of the graphic. Definately keep the tropical & water vibe. Would it be possible to give a bit more pop and vibrancy? We are thinking more along the lines of your Bublu, LivPlaza, Ajitora, Crystal Springs, Pacific Genetics, Along with the simple clarity of Coastal Dental and Solstice. I know these are all quite different, but they are all more vivid and eye catching, which we need in our crowded space. Also I've listed some ideas we had of a color palette. We are not designers (!) but those kind of colors are what we are aiming for.
Also we need more of an in-line logo that works well as a header on web sites - text to the right of the graphic. Prefer sans serif fonts, probably with all caps, maybe with a bit of flaire as long as they remain distinguished.
