Done. please review #258, #258, #259, #260.
Do you mean grayscale of the final logo? Designer must be able to provide additional variations like grayscale and other variation files of the final logo design. Thats will signed in the contract of agreement when the contest complete.
#253 = darker version with same font size, #254 = bolder font, but we change the font cos latest font dont have bold version, #255 = one step more bolder, #256 = bolder than #255. On bolder font we use same dark grey as on logo mark.
Could you create #240 and #243, but in purple (cube of #231) and purple instead of red letters. When I have those, can I close this phase of the contest and choose among those four designs over the next few days?
Forget my comment above. I'd like to use the cube and color from #235 and try a 2 line font, such as Franklin Gothic Demi Gond (condensed) for Escape Room and Microsoft Sans Serif (expanded) for Center.
See http://www.escaperoomcenter.com/jangkrick.html
Can you run an example of what it would look like in red instead of purple? I'm getting feedback that they like your logo best but prefer the color of other logos.
Sorry, I thought this was going to be hard to explain. The two changes I am looking for are:
1. Increase the contrast here: http://www.escaperoomcenter.com/jangkrick.html
2. Slightly increase the space between the cube and the words like in #222.
Based on the survey I completed among my friends, this design won. I'd like to make some small changes over the next few days. I like the improvements you made here lightening the maze. There is only one spot in the maze I'd like to change. I'd like to increase the contrast inside the maze by the first E in Escape. The second change I'd like to make is to slightly increase the space between the cube and the words.
My survey is still in the early stages, but this one is polling very high. Some have commented that it is a little dark. Is it possible to lighten the maze (perhaps there is too much purple in the maze interior)?
Great. This gives me confidence that if I needed a more square version of the other one that it would look good too. At this point, I am going to put the top three designs in a survey to my friends so that I can finalize the most preferred design tomorrow. Good luck.
I had one more thought before I do the survey. Could you make a version, using this graphic and coloring, but in a more square format. I would want the cube on the left as the same height as the words. The words would be in three rows, left justified. The letters would be the same height, so the right margin would not be flush.

Exactly what I was looking for. I don't need any changes at this time. I am going to do a survey today with my friends on the top three designs and this is the one I'm going to use as the one from you.
Thank you for making all the variations I requested. They are great. I would appreciate it if you would you also try this one (#154) with Escape and Room in purple and Center in dark gray.
It may be easier if I list all my preferences in one comment.
The word ESCAPE: I like it as-is in this version(#107).
The graphic keyhole side: Great as -is.
The graphic maze top: Great as-is.
The graphic door side: too dark. I'd prefer a dark gray over black. Not sure if the door itself should be the same dark gray or black.
The word ROOM: should be same color as the door, currently too dark.
I think I want to experiment with keeping all the words on the same line. In those cases, reduce kerneling for the word Room.
Center: color is good as-is (light gray).
The design colors, therefore, are purple (current one), dark gray (replacing the black), and light gray.
First request: keep everything where it currently is, with same font and spacing, but replace the black with dark gray.
Second request: Put all words on one line: Escape (purple), graphic, Room (dark gray), Center (light gray).
Third request: All words on same line as in second request, but put the graphic between the words Room and Center.
Sorry such a long comment, but wanted all my thoughts in one place.
I think this would look better with Escape and Room being on the first line and Center underneath. I'd also like to see them all on one line (escape - graphic - room - center) and (escape - room - graphic - center). I think having the words in the three different colors (Purple, dark gray, light gray) would add to the effect.
Great idea. I'm going to take a break for the night and tomorrow I'm going to survey my friends on the top 3 logos. My only question is whether there is a way to get CENTER next to Room. I realized my building signage has a lot of horizontal space.
I sent you wrong with changing the purple. The purple you had before was ideal. The only reason I suggested lightening it was because I thought the black keyhole wouldn't be obvious against the dark purple. If you change the purple back to how it was, I'd prefer it. Many thanks.
The shading from light to dark isn't working for me. Try keeping the keyhole wall a light purple and the door wall one shade of black or gray. If you want to experiment with the ? then interchange it with the keyhole, not the maze on top.
The graphic with the maze on top is definitely what has you in the lead. No need to fix what isn't broken. My escape rooms have no ceilings, so your original graphic effectively communicates entering a room with a puzzle inside.
One other thing that might help a lot: Look at my winning logo for my Analytics In Focus contest (in my profile). That might give you good insight as to how I like purple and grayscale working well together.
This is still my favorite grayscale one. If we took away the wave/rip element and made Center larger (and probably right justified it), I think it would be more balanced (the word center should be equal to or only slightly less important than the words Escape Room).
I'm struggling to decide which of your designs I like the most. I've kept the two I think I like the most towards the top of my rankings, and put all the rest at the bottom (just so that they are next to each other). Please don't think that the others are really that low rated; I just need to see them next to each other. Some feedback I've received is that some people don't necessarily like the red. They'd like to see in purple and/or another color. Also, does the maze on top have to be contrasted with the color? I wonder if it might look better as the two shades of gray as on the grayscale original.
My fonts weren't good (your choices are much better), but I just wanted to communicate how we could use color and the positioning of the words and graphic.
What if you try to make the words on 3 lines, such as
ESCAPE
## ROOM
## Center
where the # was the graphic, and the words were right justified. The graphic would fit in the hole caused by the words room and center being shorter than the word escape? This is hard to explain, I may need to sketch it out tomorrow. Don't worry if you don't get my meaning, I can describe it better tomorrow.
I think I may have steered you wrong. The graphic did look better in grayscale. I like the words on the right, but not the OO nor the kerneling choice on Center.
I really like the graphic. I think I'd prefer the words to the right of it and a little color, but you are the first person to create a graphic that has potential.

Also, will you be able to make a grayscale version of the logo?
