Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Hope this finds you having a good Saturday so far?
Here are a few variations and iterations combining the icon and lettering to make a full wordmark. Out of all of them I think I personally prefer #79 ... It has a nice balance between the upper half and the lower half. I've also altered the thickness of the icon to match the wording.
If you'd like to see any other variations don't hesitate to ask.
Can we please see entry #46 in black and white and transparent? We just want to see how it would look if we ever printed something with the logo that is not in colour.
thanks ninet6, for entry #46 can we see a grayscale as well, since the gradient will carry over on a photocopy. we'd like to see how documents will look after a copy or b/w scan etc. thanks!
Not a problem at all. And here it is #167 ... The current gradient should hold up (in terms of strength of the grey), however its easy to alter and make slightly darker if needed - but should be fine.
we've settled on the design we have ranked number 1, but we have one request. we'd like to see what the logo will look like if you were to extend the blue dash all the way right and open the gap between the black ends. hope that makes sense. lets see what you can come up with. thanks again!
Excellent news, thanks, its been a great project to work on.
Not a problem at all, would be my pleasure.
And here is that variation: #171 What I've done is extend the blue dash to the far right, and made the gap above and below the same as the gap between the dash and the left hand vertical (of the outer element) if that makes sense :) I could stretch the outer element upwards and downwards to make the elements above and below the dash (on the right) longer/deeper, however I didn't as the current shape is a perfect square and doing this would make it more a tall rectangle.
