Color Preferences
I am open to color possibilities for the logo.

At times, the Enrollment Catalyst logo may be used in conjuction with another company: www.cherryandcompany.com. It might be good to consider a logomark color palatte that will work alongside of Cherry+Company.

I like blue, green (more of a kelly green), orange, etc. But again I am open to possibilities.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I don't want it to be too complex or intricate in the design.

The following are some other educational marketing sites that might be helpful to review:
www.finalsite.com
www.edsocialmedia.com (I really like the simplicity of this one)
www.brandeducation.org
www.turnaroundmkt.com
www.detailscom.com
www.isminc.com
www.stamats.com

These are examples of educational marketing/website companies.

I seem to lean towards a bolder look that grabs you but that is simple.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

I really like the initial direction of designs #1 and #2. I like the use of the color by using blue with gray and the green with gray. Both logos are a great start to this contest!

For both versions, I would be interested in seeing if a stacked version of the type would work next to the logomark.

For #1: I wonder if catalyst is too light of a treatment? Would a stacked version work here?

For #2: The top portion of the "e" feels too heavy above the bottom portion of the "e." The top portion of the "e" seems to hang over the bottom.

I realluy like the blue and gray color combinations. Are there any other color suggestions? Would black work instead of gray?

I also like the words Enrollment Catalyst together. The stacked versions I have seen don't work as well with the spacing on Catalyst. What about trying ENROLLMENTCatalyst and enrollmentCATALYST? Or some other variations?

Wow this is getting to be a difficult decision! They are all so good! It seems like I like the blue/gray or the red/gray color combinations the best. Hope that helps for now!
