Dear Nathan,
I have a serious problem - and I don't know if there is anything you can do to help me, I love the logo we selected and it is so pretty but when I used it for the first time, it became obvious that one of the member organizations has a very very similar logo (no where near as pretty as yours but still too close since they are members of this group!!). I had no idea (and there is no way you could have known either of course.....).
I am now wondering if there is anything you can do to help us re-do the logo in some way.
Here is the note I sent to Logo Tournament and Ivan suggested that I get back in touch with you.... here was what I said:
"Our chosen logo looks just like another in our field....
I am wondering what to do: yesterday we settled on a logo and we sent it out on our first memo only to find out that it is very very similar to one already in use (see here:
http://www.nfrmpo.org/Home.aspx). How do you handle this when it happens? Can we choose our 2nd or 3rd choice one - and pay extra to that designer directly or through you? I am not asking you to take on responsiblity for this - there is no way I could have known - nor could Nathan who produced our logo for us. OR could I work with Nathan to change it? Any ideas what to do? I just wasted $400 of my own personal money to get this logo done and now it isn't even useful in any way. I feel awful. Thanks for any suggestions!! Sonia"
Once you look at the logo at www.nfrmpo.org/Home.aspx can you tell me if you think there is anything that you might be able to do? Please know that I am not mad at you - just wondering if you can help because we really love your style!
Sonia
