Please people...stop copying ideas [specifically the cadeseus] ...I know you can do better than that!

The CH wants a Cadeseus in the logo and other elements that are quite specific, I for one do as the client asks.

this contest is a waste of ones time. a lot of hardwork for "not interested" why don't you just use a clipart of caduceus and save us the time and effort?

Once we pick a winner, do we have the opportunity to continue working with that designer to nail down colors, final details, etc.?

Yes you have to accept the final design. You are picking a winner based on overall design, but, you have the right to have them change it around to suit your needs before you accept the final draft. Just because they won doesn't mean that their job is done! Colors, fonts, clean up edges, etc.......

Not only that, It's not encouraging to reissue another entry when you get absolutely feedback just 'Not Interested'. I still don't see how the current picks are commonplace or even serious. Might want to rethink what you really want here.

Some feedback by the CH would be appreciated instead of just ranking the exact same designs in all the top places...
If the CH does not provide feedback, designers don't know what to change in their entries and just withdraw them after seeing a "Not Interested".

sorry. I understand. Only 3 hours to go. Want a "warm, fuzzy" feeling to the logo. We're off the "compass" idea. Want professional, yet warm and fuzzy.

Is there a special way to announce the winner? Or is it just the #1rank that will win?

There is a good chance that the current rank#1 wins it, but there are also times that CH re-shuffles the ranking and picks another winner. This happens when a CH, for example, brings the top ranking logos to the company staff for voting.

You just wait for the expiration and then choose your winner.

Please understand that when you rank more entries (for the skill, time & effort), we designers gain ranking points boosting our exposure for future contest holders to see. Eliminating entries outright (of course, unless you simply don't like the design at all) diminishes our exposure and wastes our time
