blue, black, separated letter "e" #56

This logo does a better job than most of the others so far in actually integrating the entire name into the logo; that's a big plus. #59 is my favorite so far. I would use the colors to show more clearly that "music" and "theory" are different words; also, the decoration on the "i" should change; it looks a little too biological. Also, the G-clef would be nice if stylized more (instead of just like a G-clef in sheet music), ideally with some kind of depth to it.

Thank you very much for your submissions!

Also, I forgot to say -- thank you for using a non-standard font; that makes it more interesting. I think it could use still a more quirky font, actually....

Thank you for your feedback. I've added two other versions with a stylized G-clef. More warm colors, without the biological thing :) : #77

There's also another one with a lively font: #78

Please tell me your opinion about the new versions.
Thanks.

I just noticed above, my comment was supposed to say my favorite was #56, not #59 (by another designer).
The original font is better -- I'm realizing that getting too odd quickly loses the clean effect.
Maybe return the black color into #77 -- that was a nice look in #56.

The gradient from blue to orange doesn't work for me, but I agree it would be nice to add some kind of depth to the clef graphic.

Thanks for the updates!

I agree with you on color and not using gradient.
I think there should be black in the logo as the notes are black, too.
I'm adding a new design with the same font, G-Clef with depth and blue-black version.
Hope you like it.

Please have a look at this version. The G-Clef here is simple and clean.

Very nice -- can you return the orange color to the "e" and the "theory"? It also seems to me like the G-clef is leaning a little to the right.

Then it's mostly up to whether we go with the simple & clean design like this, or something like brad2's design.
I really like there to be some kind of visual thing that's subtle, but someone will notice and say "hey, that's cool"... but I don't know much about creating that kind of effect. Currently the leading logo has a graphic that I love but the overall logo is not feeling "together" enough.

Thank you for your submissions, and I welcome any advice!

I think i understand what you like.
Here's a version with 3d effect on the G-clef and two colors are used. (I changed the "e" and "theory" into orange as you wanted. Two color option is better for a logo, i think).

As you can see on #111 three colors are a bit too much but of course it's up to you.
All the best.

My mistake -- yes, two colors are better. Black and blue look the best, I think -- better than blue & orange.
I don't think the new tweak to the clef is working; is there any other way to give that more depth & interest?

Thanks very much!

We wrote in the same moment.

I actually think that entry #104 is the cleanest logo for music ( (which i love and make, too) that i made. I think when a logo has web 2 elements (shadow, 3d etc.) it can get too technological. In my opinion music's purity is better shown without too much technological elements. What do you think?

As you said you're open for ideas. It's important that the logo you'll choose can be used on web and also for print (papers, letters). It should also be nice in black&white. These are my opinions.

Thanks for your feedback.
Good luck.
