First if I may take a minute and applaud your ministry. Jesus calls us to protect the least of these. He says they are in essence one with Him in regards to our treatment of them .(Matthew 25:36) I am always blessed when I see that being put into practice on a real tangible level. As parents of 3 children we see every day what a blessing a strong sound family is. We hope to add to our family through adoption in the near future as God permits. As for the design..I went simple but with a message.
The orphan is adorned in purple to represent royalty. There is a shadow to signify that the orphan is actually being not just embraced, but elevated and lifted up.
Thanks for your encouragement. I've seen a couple of logo's like this one. I'd suggest trying something much different than the others. A circle style that looks like a Starbucks logo, with Embracing Orphans in the wording and a father kneeling down to embrace a child that looks like she is a toddler. Something that looks a little organic/rough.
