#3 is the most like a "relief" agency. In many ways we are similar to that, so I like the feel of it. I'm not that excited about the person in the partial circles, if there was a way to define the person as a little more child like or even try having a stylized verson of a child lifting their arms to be picked up, that might work nice. The light blue in the circle is nice. The grey looks good with the light blue, I thought orange would have looked nice, but I like the grey. I'd like to see the words larger and possibly (not definetly) in lower case. Maybe using the light blue in the words somehow. This is a logo that we would like to be able to seperate the text from the icon so each needs to stand on it's own to some degree. Also, the logo will be used for letterhead, website, newsletters, etc. and at times may have to be copied in black and white. We'd like it to be able to stand up to having it transfered to black and white and still be clearly our logo. I think this is most doable with this one that you have created, but I do like the symbolism in the icon of #2.
I like how sharp #2 is. But, the font and the glossy look give it a technology feel. We are relational and professional, but we aren't a web based organization.
#3 looks professional could be printed in black on documents, shows an embrace in the two circles, and a child represented in light blue in the center. I like all of these parts. I would love to see this specific logo with a couple changes too. What would it look like to have the font larger? What if the same font was used, but it was lower case? The grey looks nice and so does the teal, but could we see a couple other color combos? #20 and #21 look just like what I asked for, but not surprisingly they still aren't as nice as what you created originally in #3. Sometimes the artist really knows best.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback. I apologise for the late reply as I have been travelling. I will work on #3 and get back to you ASAP with some variations.
#22 and #23 don't have the same "relief organization" feel. By the way I do like the words Embracing and Orphans one on top of the other rather than all together in one line.
I'd love to see more versions of #3. Bigger font, different styling, but keep the main idea of what you have.
This Friday at 3:00PM Pacific Time I will be away from the internet until Sunday at about 5PM Pacific Time. I may be able to get on a computer inbetween these time, but it is doubtful.
Could you take entry #2 and change it so that it would look like hands in abstract form and the blue globe looked abstractly like that of the earth. just curious also would like to see one with the icon in #45, and #3 with the font from #2.
Blessings Dustin
