I just want to let everyone know that we will be changing the current header that you see in the mock-up. It is a little too juevenille for this age group. We will be changing the look to something more appropriate to this age group......something more "Girlie". The logo should reflect this. Thanks!

#1 I find this design difficult to read.....it is not easy on the eyes. No a great fan of that black lettering. Nothing really "special" about this one...thanks for your effort though.

#11 & #12 Thanks for your explaination. To me it looks like a bag that an old lady would carry (sorry). I appreciate your creative thought process, however, this concept is not really working for me. I would love to see more from you.

#2 I like this design very much....I was trying to think of why it is still not right however. I find it to be slightly faded, perhaps some color contrast in the design would be good. The font that you came up with is excellent. Thank you.

#9 & #10 not really working for me. #15 is a difficult to read.

#13 Still not working for me....maybe color should be lighter in the font. Maybe distiguish the butterfly more (if that's what it is). Again, I like the font, but color scheme is not working. Need something that will make it appear clearer. Needs a bit more crispness to it.

#55...thanks for the entry, but this concept is not working for me. I find it difficult to read, and looking for something more vibrant, with more color.

TO ALL DESIGNERS,

Alot of the font styles that you all selected are good, however, we are looking for more of a design element, not just a font. We are looking for vibrant colors and contrast. Most of you are sending all purple color fonts. Not sure why you are all following each other on this?? PLEASE be creative with this....I am open to all ideas. If you were creating a website for 8-12 year old girls, what would YOU design for a logo. PLEASE DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELVES. I did not specify a specific color for this contest. I am just looking for something very "girlie" yet not "babyish". Please let me know if you have any questions.

paragonnyc, I think most designers made the text pink because of the website layout you said you were going to use. I'll try it with different colours from the website layout.
