Hi ! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

Logo's do not necessarily need to have a star in them. Feel free to be completely creative.

Keep in mind we're an entertainment company. We produce music and manage artists.

We also prefer a logo on a white background. Thanks.

Do you want to stand out from the crowd or keep a conservative look?
Also, since the name is pretty obvious leading the eye to "Star" part of the company name, do you want the star to have a common look or it can be something more intricate and with a unique touch? Or, no star at all?
Also, font touches are preferred against common font usage?
Do you want the font choice to be made among free fonts or you want a font that has it's uniqueness?
On a scale from 1-5 how much would you give to this logo images :

We would like to stand out from the crowd.
The star, if there is one in the logo, can be intricate. We really don't have a vision in mind of what this should look like until we start seeing more concepts.
Not sure what kind of font to use...
As for the logos in the link... those would be pretty low in the 1-5 ranking. Maybe a 1 or 2. (with 1 being lowest and 5 the highest.)

We'd like to see some logos that feature "Electra" and then "Star Management". The logos don't need to have a star in them. But they can.
