El Segundo Girls Softball (ESGS)Logo Design Contest

Non-profit youth sports organization providing softball programs to help youth develop through wholesome fun, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Target audience: Youth players, their parents/guardians, and community members involved in ESGS

Blues and yellows. Open to other accent colors being used (pinks/purples/etc).

We are a youth girls’ softball league based in the small beach town of El Segundo, with players ranging from ages 6 to 14. We’d like the logo to feel energetic, positive, and community-oriented — something that reflects both our love of softball and the spirit of our town. The design should include softball-related elements (such as a ball, bat, diamond, silhouettes, or motion lines) and may also incorporate subtle references to El Segundo’s beachside character, such as the water tower, sun, or beach. The logo will appear across many touchpoints — our website, jerseys, banners, and merchandise (hats, sweatshirts, etc.) — so it should be clean, flexible, and easy to reproduce.

We’d like a logo package that includes a few variations (attached an example):
• Text only (for clean applications)
• Icon or mark only
• Combined version (text + mark)

Our league also has Select and All-Star teams, so the design should be extendable to future variations (we’d be open to commissioning those separately). We’re open to exploring different text treatments using El Segundo Girls Softball, ESGS, or Gundo Girls — whichever feels most natural and balanced within the design.
