I like the lower-case letters. Would like to see darker purples, or something to suggest more dignity and connection with the ancient.

I like the imagery of a plant, or the sun. Doesn't need to be either. But I like the idea of new life coming from the old. I wonder how the concept of "network" could be integrated--the idea that Ekklesia serves many different communities.

The parent organization is Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church, whose website is www.oruuc.org. The website has the ORUUC logo--a tree with a rainbow image. A tie-in with that imagery would be nice, though not necessary. A tie-in with color to that ORUUC logo would also be nice.

A note to the Contest Holder.

The winning designer, mare.ingenii, has asked that the following message be relayed to you.

"I may not be able to upload final files until the next 24 hours or so.
The city chennai I live in is flooded and almost under water due to mar rive down pour
State of emergency in the city with about most parts under 3-5 feet of water - airports shut down no power in most places etc
Ian safe next 24 hour crucial
Final files can be uploaded once power is restored hope you can bear with the delay."

We had a brief update from mare a couple of hours ago: he is safe and in no immediate danger, but is still experiencing some Internet issues. It wasn't clear from his message whether this is still preventing him from upload the files, but thank you for your patience. I am sure he will upload them at the very first opportunity.
