Eithernet Technologies will be providing cloud based architecture and Infrastructure as a Service for businesses looking for an alternative to current web service offerings. We are a Veteran owned business and very patriotic.

We would like to keep it to 2 (maybe 3 colors). The fewer colors allows for a higher budget for marketing materials and swag. Blue should be primary, black secondary, and if we entertain a third color, I think it should be red. You could also use two shades of blue, like Navy Blue, Baby Blue, and Black.

Our company is a technology company focusing on providing remotely accessible web/cloud services, including virtual hardware, web hosting, virtual machines/servers, storage, etc. The name Eithernet Technologies is a play on the word Ethernet (a family of wired computer networking technologies) and the word Either (implying 2 or more than 1). There are several entendres in the name, but an example might be that we are offering Either technology (your and/or ours) to support your business, or that your infrastructure can exist on our infrastructure. IT (Information Technology) also exists in the name as well as NET - eITherNET. So, we want to emphasize the letter I, so it is not mistaken or lost in the common use of the name Ethernet. You could also emphasize IT and/or NET. The letter "e" has traditionally been lower case in technology (although it doesn't need to be here). Examples include eBook, eReader, eMachine, etc. The most common use of the Ethernet standard is in the Ethernet Cat-5 cable, consisting of a cable with an RJ-45 end. The logo could incorporate the CAT-5 cable (maybe for the letter "I"), the RJ-45 end, the RJ-45 jack that it plugs into, etc. Our service is a cloud service, so a cloud could be incorporated in the logo also. Finally, patriotism is very near and dear to our hearts. Patriotism was the inspiration for the company, so if it inspires the logo that would be great.
