Hi, here's my logo concept of the character you're trying to portray, it can be a separate icon. It projects a character. Entry 1

Simple, without the outlines on the fonts, and artistically only the head and hands holding a wand, the star as part of letter I.

Another presentation, making the star same width as Merlins, and stacked.

another concept, adaptable on a dark background. Illustrations comes in vector format, so its fully resizable.

Thanks for your entry. I really like how your logo creates a character!! Its very smart.

We were using this image as an "AVATAR" for a web site. It is not for a business card. So it can be very 3D. It does not have to be static. Imagine an avatar of merlin/ gondoff/ einstein for the next X man movies? What can you do to make him look like that? An action star that is an older sage. How can you show this guy "in motion"?

What you have created in actually awesome for a business card. We want something a little more 3D for web site. Any ideas of how to transform your wizard into that? I like what you have so far? Can you give him a bit more "action" and turn him into an X-man avatar?

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I can create a 3D approach on this guy. Can I ask something? -- will you prefer he has a body, or just the head only?

Thank you.

Visual Dreamz,

Thanks for the new designs! We really appreciate your inspiration and the new action.

We kept the ranking of the original though because we prefer the original face. What we really liked about the original one was the hair and eyes. We liked the compassion in the guys eyes in the original drawing and the creativity in your avatar’s hair. We’d like to keep that part of it when you move forward. In your new drawings the eyes and hair are more sinister.

I like the fact that you went 3d, but we want this guy to be inviting. Can we have this Merlin telling his stars/quant jocks to come here, making a "come here" gesture?

Thanks!! Great work!

Here as you can notice, the outline is not solid black, subtle effect.

Thanks for the updated design! (#213)

We'd like to change the colors. Someone started the blue and yellow and it just stuck, but the colors aren't regal enough. We like to use a dark royal raspberry for the cloak. We like this color hexadecimal # 890043: http://www.color-hex.com/color/890043. And the stars should be a platinum/metallic silver, and the text should be black.

We also want to use our original name, Einstein's Stars. We changed it in the contest because we wanted the designers to focus on a Merlin/Gandalf image instead of Einstein.

Thanks for all you're hard work!

Hi there... thanks for the feedback. I just read it just now (4:00 A.M. here our time) and the contest is closed. I see they have already implement their revisions. I hope you could give me the chance to present my revision too.

My head's still above water,

I'm ready with my revised entry, in terms of colors, yet maintaining the guy icon which afterall I originally patterned after Einstein and his "remarkable" uncomb hair. So if the name's changed from Merlin to Einstein's, it still fits.

Great thanks,
BIANCA

By the way, mine is not a trace of the two characters, Einstein or Gandalf, but a different person and unique character. -- VD
