Here are few clean/simple, contemporary looking designs (#101, #102, #103 and #104), with conceptual accent on commercial properties,...detachable "E" can be used as recognizable stand alone mark, app icon, website favicon, etc. I've used clean/flat colors, for easier and cheaper printing applications.
