i like the style of this logo very much it has that bubble gum feel to it - it is clear - could be stronger on the type - heavier outline - the girl is good but too simple - your entry 48 is very good with the eGirl Decal - almost like the Superman logo for the front of the suit - i like that
entry 47 - i like it but it is a little too feminine - eGirl is a superhero - she has lots of gadgets on her super hero suit - she can kick ass - the typeface needs to punch out more - meaning stronger outline - i like green and blue obviously pink
Hope # 52 is getting closer to what your looking for. Actually liked the color combo, so took it to design 48. Thanks for the advice, I think it took both marks to a better place!
i like both the versions now - jeez - i do like the pink flowery version now - and i think that the e inside the g on version 48 is a great design for the front of her costume on her chest - pink and green are a good color combo - i do like the blue outline around the text but it needs black to punch it out more - the red and blue version with stars just loses a little of the bubblegum poppy style - which is catchy but needs to be a little more - i am a girl so love all those girl things but i m super cool so dont mess with me.
57 & 58 : Added Black to the outline grouping like you asked. Also added a drop shadow which I feel helped the type to pop a bit more. Slight gradation on top of the letter forms also. Thanks for the comments, each time you do, I think the mark is getting better!
On Saturday I saw I got bumped by someones rendition of what they thought "e girl" was going to look like, so I thought that was the direction you were going, So I've been working on this for the majority of the day, and when I went to post it, I noticed I was back on top.... So with the time I already had in it, I figured I would go ahead a post it any way! # 92 Hope you like it!
Love it - like the character - the original logo works well with her - i feel that you have taken it in the right direction and I am happy with the outcome - I will look at it further tomorrow when I have time to make any specific detailed comments - Well done!
I wanted to get back to your logo and send some pointers - i feel that the green background has to go - as a logo must stand in its own right - the original #57 works very well and is balanced - so maybe a combination of the girl and that logo - the icon on the logo could resemble the girl more but obviously still keeping it very simple - the girl is a superhero so she must not be timid and frightened or sad - she must be courageous, confident and cool - she should also have a lcd panel on her wrist - it is like a glorified armband which has a screen and buttons
Like I said on the 25th, I saw the direction of this contest going towards what the designers rendition of what they thought e-girl was going to look like, Not really designing a logo/mark for you. Almost they were designing the uniform for her and not looking at the possibilities of how the logo was going to work for you. So I thought what the hesck and jumped in and thought I also would show my thoughts....
Im glad your happy with the logo and the illustration of "e-girl". I think it would be a good thing for you to keep them seperate. What I can do is supply you with two different files. Logo being one and then a seperate illustration file. Even giving you a third that has the illustration and logo combined. I guess something to think aobout. Ill get on the revisions and get them back to you today. Hope things are well.
Inspired by seeing the other "e-girls" out there, Just wanted to show you what my "e-girl" looked like in my eyes? Software, Everything is vector/Adobe Illustrator. I use a wacom tablet on alot of my illustrations. Hope that answered your question, if not just let me know.
