Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design -- designers will receive an email of your comment and can respond directly.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!

Hello thanks for the entries so far - impressive to see so much care and attention.

I should make the point that I am not sure that we want to shorten to EDlabs in the logo or whether we actually need a graphic device to go with a typographic solution of the full "Education Design Labs"

I am open-minded but so far not keen on the graphic devices proposed which are either too literal or too specific.

I want to say, fresh, future, digital, exciting, new, fun, design, etc

I don't seem to be able to edit the original contest brief (I could be wrong but I'm sure this was possible on my previous competitions) so I would advise designers that in general I'm not so keen on "Abstract Marks" - that doesn't mean definitely NO but what I've seen so far is either too literal or too specific.

I'd be more likely to go for a typographical design from the Wordmark or Web 2.0 style with possible graphic enhancements.

Also I'd prefer to see work around the whole name of "Education Design Labs"
