Thanks for the submission. The polar bear looks a little too angry. Clever use of the interlinking "o" and "c" letters, but perhaps the font is a little too strong?
Hi axle, sorry for the delay. Okay I will try another version with more nicer looks for the bear. Do you have any samples of logos you like? maybe I can use it as a reference so I can make sure that I'm on the right track
94 is pretty good. Thanks for the improvements. I still don't like the font you've chosen for "Arctic Crisis." It looks handwritten style which looks a bit sloppy.
The logos are a little bit busy and remind me of Klondike. Not sure if there is any way to improve that.
done #96 #97 I removed the half circle background in order to make it looks different with klondike. And it also made the food pyramid become more stands out than before.
#97 looks better, thanks. I don't like the double arrows to the left and right of Arctic Crisis; we should experiment with different kinds of fonts i guess.
The second "S" in Arctic Crisis being partially covered up isn't good.
The logo is not bad, but maybe it is a little too complicated. I go back and forth between liking the background animals and not liking them. Not sure what to try.
I guess you're right... I removed the animals at the food pyramid and it looks more clean and nice #106 It doesn't have to literally showing the animals actually.. the food pyramid itself is already represent the food chain... what do you think?
106 is better. Can we try improving 97? there's potential there but still needs work: 1. The mark needs a big dose of simplification 2. The make needs a "hero," i.e., a graphical center. The idea of using an animal gives a nod to the cards, can be recycled in future decks, and moves us farther away from Klondike. To keep the bear the hero, reduce the prominence and complexity of the iceberg. Keep it simple. 3. Address some of the sloppy cuts on the "EcoChains" extended stroke: between the lower leg of the "E" and the bowl of the "C" between the upper bowls of the "O" and "C." There exists an implied horizontal line at the cap height in most places but here. 4. Consistency. between the legs of the "H" and the "A." There exists an implied horizontal line at the cap height in most places but here. 5. Consistency. below the crossbar of the "A" between the leg of the "N" and the spine of the "S." There exists an implied horizontal line at the cap height in most places but here. Consistency. What we want is more negative space, not less. 6. Please Lose the carrots on either side of "Arctic Challenge" There's plenty of visual weight on "EcoChains." Increase hierarchy and contrast by reducing the weight of "Arctic Crisis." Explore a different lockup for "Arctic Crisis" in the case of future iterations with longer names, e.g., Antarctic Crisis, Freshwater Crisis, Mediterranean Crisis, and so forth.
I'm sorry,,, unfortunately I'm not allowed to give any personal contact while the contest still running.. it's not possible to have any other communication outside logotournament as it against the site rules.. however, if you're sure that you will pick the logo I've made as the winner, you can end the contest first then I'm allowed to communicate directly with you through email. No worries, although you have picked me as the winner, I'll still available to do any revisions until its perfect. You can count on me :)
