What We Do
A website selling artisanal jewelry handmade from recycled or natural materials by US-based artists
Industry
Internet
Color Preferences
Ideally we would like a combination of chocolate brown, green (more apple than kelly) with a tiny touch of orange as an accent.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We would prefer for the logo to be wider rather than taller. It has to look good on a web site, and in printed material including an oval label. Some dimension would be nice. Another preference is to stay all lower case, no initial caps. And we'd like to stay away from any visual allusions to jewelry.

I would prefer "eco" and "lustre" to be visually separated somehow vs. appearing as one word
I'd really like it if more than one color was used (in addition to black)
Please don't obscure the letters: "l" in 4th ranked doesn't really look like an "l"

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

The "eco" angle is apparent, but sophistication is getting lost. Especially entries #6 and 7 look a little more like they belong to a gardening site than one selling jewelry.

I like the dimension of the symbol in #12, as well as the drop shadow, though it's a bit disprportionate and overwhelms the type
I wish someone would try to incorporate orange as a small accent.

A few suggestions, since we're seeing only one style in most of the designs:
perhaps try doing something with the first letters of the two words of the company name, "e" and "l" - either lower case or caps
stacking the two words - eco on one line, lustre on the other
using type as design element - kind of like "e" in Dell

Thanks!

Dear Nalu,
during the judging mode, only 1st ranked designer in your contest, can submit new entries.
In order to get new entries, you will need temporary to re-rank designers.

If you need any help, feel free to let us know.

Best regards,
